Solar Pillar Bridge = Beauty and Function, Day or Night

I love this bridge and sorry it took me so long to make a review I've had it for 4 years and it still looks beautiful

Single best outdoor purchase we ever made.No, it won't last forever. No, the solar lights are not the best available, but it hints a Japanese garden styling while remaining fully usable. Our photo taken at night says it all.Assembly was easy enough, but takes up a fair amount of space. Apartment / condo dwellers will be challenged, but it's doable.RE the solar lights: the top and bottom assembly on one that was seemingly DOA was fused together at the plastic fastener, so I could not fix a cable that had jiggled loose in shipping (or manufacturing). It wouldn't open without breaking..It's cedar colored -- could stand some weatherizing paint.It will put a smile on your face. . . at least for a couple of years.

The company ships in two boxes. The bridge in one lights in another which did not come the same day. But the lights showed up two days later. The bridge deck was pretty easy to put together the hand rails on the other hand. The rail ends are cut square however the mortise has round edges. So I had to use a wood chisel to square the corners. I guess I could have used a straight slot screwdriver. I strongly recommend using a power screwdriver or drill because there are a lot of screws! After it is all together it is really pretty and fit perfect in our landscape

Bought this for my mom's garden. It looks adorable in the pictures...but, it is very poorly constructed and NOT durable. The color is (like other have said) not a wood color but a very, very orange color. Putting in together is also difficult due to holes not lining up. It is already started to crack in places and the solar lights died nearly right away. Avoid buying this...it is not worth the money or the hassle. Just disappointing.

Beautiful concept with a couple design flaws. The stain work is not great and the solar lights have a reputation for not functioning and there are no replacements available. The first issue can be solved by redoing the stain professionally, the second problem ... buy 1.5 “ cool white battery operated tea lights that have a timer. Position the tea light upside down in the solar candle case. The light will come on at night for 8 hrs then go off for 16 hrs....it works for me get cool white and you can’t tell the difference...

THIS LITTLE BRIDGE IT WORTH EVERY PENNY. IT'S STURDY AND FAIRLY EASY TO ASSEMBLE. ALL MY LIGHTS WORK FOR NOW AND IT LOOKS AWESOME AT NIGHT.AND ON A SIDE NOTE: THIS BRIDGE WILL CAUSE MARITAL PROBLEMS. I BOUGHT THIS BRIDGE FOR MY JAPANESE GARDEN (I HAD PLANNED ON MAKING A "DRY CREEK BED") AND MY HUSBAND LOVED THE BRIDGE SO MUCH, HE TOOK OVER MY PROJECT AND STARTED DIGGING A WHOLE FOR AN ACTUAL POND AND DESIGNED IT ALL HIMSELF. UGH, MEN. SO EVEN THO THE BRIDGE CHANGED MY GARDEN PLANS, I LOVE IT AND VERY HAPPY WITH THE PURCHASE.

The bridge is pretty neat sort of cumbersome to put together.The small wood pieces along the side are curved in a weird way.The solar lights are very dim, and half of them didn’t work out of the box.I attempted to contact the company to get new lights and they couldn’t do that. They did offer to send a return slip to rerun the bridge which seems a bit excessive, but what do you expect for the price! Quality customer service and products, not in today’s world.The quality seems like it might last 1 year, they didn’t even fully paint it as you’ll see in picture 2.I would not but again but if you choose to enjoy!

This little bridge is exactly what we needed. It is the perfect size and so adorable! It is sturdy also. My husband can walk across it with no problems. Assembly was fairly easy. Most of the slats were already put in place. My only complaint would be the original color. It was an ugly orange color (look at 2nd picture). My husband sanded and stained it and it looks so much better!
