Q: How do you upgrade to digital?

The analog cars, most of them manufactured after a certain date (2010, I think but ask google ) require the installation of a digital chip it isn’t hard. Then you purchase a “Digital power adapter and a few pieces of Digital track. You are then upgraded. From there you can race digital cars and do all sorts of digital racing.

Q: can I convert this track to wireless? if so what parts to buy, and can I simply put a chip in the cars, I want to run 4 cars at once

Yes you can convert to wireless. I am going to do it myself soon. You do need a section of track with controllers for wireless. Not sure about the cards yet.

Q: Can two sets of these combined forms a 4 lane track?

No, you will need to purchase curved tracks that sit outside the 1/60s in this set to move outward.
