Aiwa X15 Portable Bluetooth PA Speaker

I found the x15 to be everything that claim to be and more in the reviews there are complaints about the sound quality this is a PA system all around Bluetooth capable FM radio and a few other hidden gems that nobody knows about or didn't read about. I'm going to share some information with everyone that was kind of funny. When I got the email from Aiwa saying that I had won third place and they gave me $50 off the original price. In that email in the description of what I was getting said there was an onboard EQ and IR remote which I didn't receive with my system. Now the funny thing is I was using it in my house the other day when I got it and the blower on my air conditioner was turned all the way up so I used my remote to turn it down and when I push fan down it said classical mode so I push it again it said Rock mode and I push it again it said country mode and Jazz mode and so on. I thought that was funny as hell but my blower motor was all the way down so when I went to push the blower motor remote up it stated mute on then when I push it again it said mute off. So just so everyone knows they can ask Amazon or Aiwa for the IR remote and get a lot more surprises than they realized! Please note this is not the Exos 9. But it has surprisingly excellent sound inside and Outdoors believe me I was around a 100 unit apartment complex outside and the front half of the building tenants came out to enjoy the music and they all talked about how good the sound quality was at full volume. As for all the other things that I can do with it that I haven't yet I will write a review on that as well.

This is really just a pa-style speaker with a LOT of built in connections and capabilities. LOVE the wheels and telescoping handle. Makes it easy to move like a spinner suitcase. Fairly lightweight for it's size, even with the rechargeable battery inside.Sound quality is good. Bass is strong but not crazy, highs and mids are also strong but not brash. Has good, distortion free volume until you push it really hard. But hey, that's pretty much any speaker, so it's to be expected.The built in wireless mics are a nice touch. Are they crazy good? No, but if you want to use them for public address or for karaoke, they're perfect for that. Mount it on a speaker stand, and it works amazingly well as a stand-alone outdoor PA system. Even with music playing, it senses when you begin to speak and fades the music out until you stop talking. Very nice feature! Also, the subwoofer is green... which I've never seen before, but is actually kind of cool.For the money, it's really hard to beat this unit!

The wireless mics with echo sound darn good especially for the money. I have had anchor battery units and this sounds much better.I haven't gotten to use it outside yet to see how far the sound travels but I think it will be ok. I love that it has an output to add a second unit or daisy chain them. If I had my wish, l wish you could wireless transmit to a second, 3rd, 4 th unit instead of using 1/4" but, I have to keep telling myself how much this cost vs the anchor that can do transmit wirelessly. I also wish it had the option to have a lapel mic instead of the hand held.I wanted to pick up a second one but it's not available just yet. After I have a second one, this will come in handy for wedding ceremony, gigs in the woods that don't have power, on down to a beach party.

It's pro audio speaker made by a for consumer electronics company. It does deliver on battery life. It does wireless mic satisfactory with simple setup. Audio quality better than 8" speakers battery powered Pro Audio for professionals. Not super loud or clean for pro audio setup. Way loud and viable for backyard BBQs small party's 20-50ppl.I gigged a pair immediately. Used the line out into a mixer board with 4 additional 15" Powered PA speakers. Used additional wireless mic to supliment Shure Wireless Mic system. I used line-in on second as monitor to dial in Aiwa and Shure mics. Gig was four 6hr sessions across 3 days. Only had to charge once. Max volume. Range on mics about 50ft. Beyond starts to cut out. Does need direct line of sight. Capabilities volume battery life is more than adequate for consumer purposes.

This is by far the best sounding portable PA system I have ever run across. The idea that you can have a system of this caliber for the money is just awesome.Pros - The sound that this thing puts out is just incredible. The battery has a great life when not tethered to a power source. Can be used in the most remote locations. Can be powered using a 12 volt system (i.e. car battery). Flash drive (USB) and memory card slots. It can be mounted on a speaker stand to project the sound at listening levels.Cons - The instruction manual could have been a little more detailed. Some of the button functions (such as turning off the voice prompts) were left out and the remote is a little wonky (works great sometimes and other times not so well). Other things I think could make it better would be a 1/4" headphone jack and it would also be great to be able to fully retract the antennas into the box so they are protected during transport. It would be nice if the retractable handle did not rattle when using a higher volume.All-in-all, the Pros far outweigh the cons.

I have not fully tested the speaker yet, but man is it LOUD! It sounds pretty good too for a P.A. speaker. I am a little disappointed in the overall finish of the cabinet though as it has a few obvious defects in it and I expected a little more from a top tier company like Aiwa. In the end I would recommend this speaker to anyone in the d.j. or similar business as it will fill just about any situation you may come across.

This is an excellent choice for PA use. I use for my grand children to play with and they enjoy it.I use this to listen to prime amazon music and USB stick and SD cards. I add a Yamaha subwoofer to the unit to make it nicer sound system, and it sounds excellent. The rattle sounds came from the handle springs. you need to rap it up. If you complaint of the sound I would tell you that all TV have pour sound quality that's why you need to use the home audio system. I like this speaker and I have $50 off because of 2 Exos 9 I had.
