VAVA VOOM 22 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker (30W Hi-Fi Sound, Bass EQ, Bluetooth or 3.5mm Connection)

Awesome bluetooth speaker!In terms of looks, there is no doubt it looks great and blend nicely around the house. It totally shows why it won the Red Dot Design award. Even though it is designed to be positioned upright, I like placing it sideways and wish there was some sort of base to also hold it sideways or in an angle. The top is plastic and the bottom of the speakers have the distinctive VAVA soft rubbery feel to it that when combined with the dark/light gray fabric makes them nice to look at while giving it a top of the line, kind of, expensive look. I like the fact that they went with this color scheme instead of the overused/monotone solid black or white.I bought the pair system and It was a nice feeling unpacking them as they came packed in a box that gave the impression like I was opening an apple product. Each speaker comes with its own charging adapter, a 3.5mm cable and a small manual.Once powered on, it was really easy to pair up with my phone, echo dot, and IPad. It also has a built-in battery to use the speaker without the charger, thus giving you the freedom to move it around and if you have a BIG backpack to take it with you. In terms of battery life from a full charge, I found it to be very good given the size and wattage of the speakers. It also charges pretty fast with the power adapter provided. A nice addition that I like about VAVA speakers is that the internal battery also doubles as a charger for phones and electronics, which is quite nice.The speaker is bigger than your average portable speaker, it’s loud, and it sound great and the more you use it the clearer and nicer it gets. However, I must say that sometimes with heavy bass music on low volumes, the bass overpowered the tweeter. This is not a problem, however, once you pump up the volume to fill the room with sound. It also has an EQ button that toggles the extra bass on and off to give it an extra bump in sound. If like me, you prefer even more bass you can always place it close to a corner or wall to enhance the base response and sound.In conclusion, I think this speaker is a good value and above all sound great. The freedom to use it wirelessly, the built-in battery charger for electronics, and portability around the house are features that I enjoy and make using it as a separate unit from the pair a blast.
