Beautiful and Roomy!
I have a LOT of CDs. Most date back from the time I used to do karaoke every night, and was so hardcore, I had my own tracks! Earlier cases I had either fell apart eventually, or simply did not hold my growing collections of CDS. Some CDs were also accompaniment tracks to sheet music books I owned (I took voice lessons way back when). Other CDs were actually music--some were double discs for Broadway shows and such. I ordered the "Rose" colored case, which is more a magenta and comes in a very shiny satin-like finish. Not sure how this type of fabric will hold up against scuffs and normal wear, but right now, the CDs are staying home with me and I just needed a way to store them safely. It does have a nice little handle for carrying, though. The case is so beautiful, I really want to order the blue one as well, but right now my older cases are holding up just fine, so I might wait awhile on replacing them just for looks. As other reviews have noted, the inner "sleeves" where you actually slip the cds (or dvds) are kind of flimsy. As a rule, I found that other cd cases--even ones that were quite expensive--tend to have flimsy inner sleeves that cannot be replaced (!) once the thin plastic tears and you can't use them anymore. It would be great if someone would make a case like this but with removable/replaceable sleeves. However, just trying to find CD cases in stores--especially pretty ones--are getting harder and harder because CDs are now a somewhat dated format.Another criticism was about the difficulty of closing the case once it was full. I actually had no trouble. When you get the case, it's going to be a bit flattened from storage, and you need to gently expand the sides up. Then gently guide the zipper closed. The zipper end hangs out on purpose, but it may be so one can open up the case easily without unzipping so far that you accidentally remove the pull or something (I did this dumb thing once with a pencil case ).I didn't have any issues with opening the sleeves. I just stuck the cds into the slots, and the bits of odd plastic kind of fell off naturally. I'm too lazy to actually pre-open all those sleeves. And yes, you need to remove your discs from their plastic case if they have one.Overall, I would recommend this case for home storage. It's really pretty and it will keep your discs safer and more organized than if you threw them randomly in a box, especially if you did lose or break the plastic case (or if the disc didn't have one).

Only honest review of this product
I'm going to skip the pleasantries and get right to the point. These cases are not the greatest things ever made, but they work and the people complaining about them are ridiculous. The two main complaints that have lead others to leave terrible reviews are the zipper breaking and not being able to close the case when fully loaded. I want the reader of this review to just think about that for more than a second. Once you've realized what I did, that people are trying to force these cases closed with the zipper, you'll see the complaints are largely due to user error. When you first remove one of these cases from it's plastic wrap it's flat. The board that makes the front & back covers and spine is flat and must be shaped to close. It doesn't happen immediately but like a baseball hat, it will find its shape. Just open and close it a few times while loading it. Once it is full, it is packed, as one would expect. The front cover will not simply fall shut like magic if you pull the zipper in an attempt to force the case to close. Just push down on the front cover before you try to zip. Presto! The videos of people barely touching the case lid while trying to zip are ridiculous. I'm not saying all of them are complaining just to complain (quality control problems certainly exist for all products) but most of them seem to behaving irrationally. For the price, I believe they're well worth it. Especially if you're like me and collect every TV show and movie you've ever enjoyed (I have over 2,000 dvds, blurays and 4k disks in 20 of these cases, black cases for movies & blue for shows. Now you know the level of nerd youre dealing with!).It can be very expensive to keep your collection safeguarded and when you don't subscribe to streaming services, you use them constantly. These cases will wear and need to be replaced. It's a guarantee. Like all cases if you use them as much. When that time comes, you'll want to save money doing so. These will do the job as good as any. After all, they're made of the same basic construction materials that all case manufacturers utilize to make these types of cases. They will keep your disks safe, even with the cases degrading over time and that's all that really matters at less than $15 per case.Replacing several sub $15 cases will make you much happier about your original purchase than replacing several $30+ dollar cases. You'll see some fraying on the case and think, "Meh, they were only $15 and I can replace them anytime with little to no worry, plus they're still keeping my disks safe" as opposed to, "My $30+ fake leather cases are fraying, I'm going to be mad about it for hours and write a childish 1 star review on Amazon all about it!"My main complaint isn't much of a complaint. It's with the top flap of each slot, meant to keep the disk secure in its place, are sometimes short. They're sometimes not wide enough to properly cover enough of the top of the disk to stay in place and frequently you'll find the disk laying ontop of the flap instead of underneath it. It doesnt mean the disks will come flying out, its just annoying. I really only use them as bookmarks for my tv shows, so I remember which disk I left off on. Which is why I wish they were on the longer side of being the wrong width, instead of the shorter side. Now, if you have a small collection, definitely look to buy something better constructed. If you only have 128 or fewer disks and don't expect on needing a larger capacity case, buy a nicer case. But if you're looking to build a collection like mine or already have one, you'll need many cases & you mine as well start saving money now by not wasting money on way nicer cases that will wear and need replacing just like these for a fraction of the cost.Aside from my review of these specific cases, I thought I'd share a couple tips from my experience owning so many disks:Avoid using these cases for the transport of your disks outside your home, like to a friend's house. Instead, I recommend purchasing a higher build quality case and waterproofed for transport of your collection. Or even a simple DVD case for a single movie. These cases are simply not a good choice for moving any further than from the shelf to the coffee table.Don't buy cases with a capacity greater than 128 disks. Whether your collection can squash mine or it's a normal person's sized collection. Every case I've tried over 128 wasn't worth it. A case holding 128 disks is fairly weighty but manageable. Double that and it's just too heavy. You'll increase your chances of dropping and damaging your collection by a lot when you go over 128. Not only that, but the chance of crushing or warping increases when you simply flip through the larger books. These are meant to be stored vertically, standing up. They should only ever be laying on their sides (even at 128) when you're looking for something to watch. The damage occurs because 100, 200, or even 300+ disks laying on top of the remaining disks in the case is going to cause damage. I guarantee it. Sticking to 128 and being aware enough to keep them vertical as much as possible, I've never had this happen.Last but not least, don't rely upon the handles on cases 128 disks capacity or larger. They should really not be used for anything other than pulling off of the shelf so you can put two hands on them. At 128+ disks, that handle is guaranteed to rip at some point (especially cloth) if you rely upon it. I don't care who makes it or how much you spent on it.

Ripped
It holds a lot of DVDs which is awesome for car rides, however it came ripped at the bottom seam that holds it to the base, which zipping it up and down with one hand (if driving and switching movies for kids) is more time consuming, overall not bad though

The are an excellent way to streamline and protect a collection of CD's or DVD's.
This was an excellent way to streamline our DVD collection. We took everything out of the cases and put them in these for when we moved out of the country. It protects them from dust while making organization and space savings a huge plus! They seem to be well constructed. After almost 3 years of use they are just like new. I would buy these again in a heartbeat!
