Pretty but thin
I was looking for a white but all the plain whites had obvious blue undertones so I opted for this one because it looked a bit warm.It turned out to be a nice match with the new backsplash I’m installing. It is thin though so if you have any overlaps it’s looks funky.1st pic is an upclose view2nd pic is comparing lines vs unlined bottom cabinets (I’ll do those once new counters are installed).

Stick with reliable!
First, let me just say, I have used/relied on the Con-tact brand Mirabella pattern for more than 15 years. Each time, right after a move, one of the first things I do is line drawers, cabinets and shelves with this brand and pattern. What I like is the consistency of what to expect when I purchase a tube or two from any source, is always as expected and performs just as I hope. A plus is using a pattern that can be pieced together and it doesn’t affect the appearance, it still looks great and has filled the need. There’s a good amount of adhesive but the vinyl is still adjustable to reposition if needed. The only change I have noticed over the years is the quality of vinyl has become thinner. Whether that’s more cost effective, better for the environment or to just cut corners, hopefully, the paper won’t become any thinner, since it’s tipping on the edge of easily rippable. All in all, I happily recommend the con-tact brand and if uniformity is important to you, this might be the perfect pattern to use.

A very nice pattern, but this paper can take some patience.
The Monaco Teal pattern hides seams and patches; the color is as pictured, and the paper stuck very well to my old metal medicine cabinet. I'm pleased with the result. But as other reviewers have noted, this particular type of Con-Tact paper can take some patience because it is thin and somewhat stretchy, which can be helpful for corners and edges but makes it prone to wrinkles and bubbles on large flat areas. Definitely watch one of the videos about how to deal with the bubbles.

Be aware that it does have some yellow
I thought it inappropriate for kitchen because the bits of yellow in it look like dirt or discoloration. Didn't use it and bought something else. Otherwise I'm sure it's fine.

Great for shelves! And for those tricky spots... hairspray!
This is a lifesaver for renters! I've found that really you just have to go with brand name when you need good shelf paper. The cabinets in the house we rent are water damaged and basically rotting. When I initially tried to put the paper on, it didn't stick at all and pulled up bits of cabinet! (See the third picture). I had done everything thing I read: washed it thoroughly with dawn dish soap, let it dry very well. Rub it with rubbing alcohol and let that dry, and still it didn't stick. But I had to cover up these cabinets! So then the idea comes - hairspray! Basically, I sprayed some of the hairspray I have lying around, let it dry partially, and then stick the paper down. And voila! Installed contact paper!Because it still doesn't stick down super well, I couldn't install it the normal way (I had to peel the whole thing off the paper first), but the pattern hides creases well. And because of this random-ish pattern, I didn't even bother trying to line the second sheet up with the first on the shelves in the pantry (see if you can spot the seam in the last photo).

SUPER DISAPPOINTED, VERY CHEAP QUALITY, won't hold up!
I LOVE this pattern and it really is beautiful once it's installed and looks fantastic in my grey kitchen, HOWEVER, I am sorry to report that I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality of the product. It is so thin and flimsy that just dragging a ceramic plate across it when you remove it from the shelf will snag it and rip holes in it, and therefore it's NOT DURABLE enough to be considered shelf liner or even drawer liner in my opinion. The older Contact brand paper that I removed to replace with this new pattern was so much thicker and a lot more durable and also sticks better than this crap they are producing these days. Also, I ordered a whole bunch of rolls for my large kitchen project and for the price per sq ft you get it's been hard to justify the price given the reasons I'm going to mention below. 1) It's been very hard to work with. From one roll to the next the patterns don't line up making it hard to align the pattern across an area if it requires patching two pieces together. One roll would be 18" wide per standards, but the next would be 18-1/4", thus the pattern is stretched and won't align with the 18" roll's pattern. 2) Also, the size of the roll being only 18" wide instead of over 20" LIKE MOST OTHER BRANDS, leaves a TON of waste pieces (unless you like patching multiple pieces together to get full coverage, but beware of my comment above regarding that). For instance, my wall cabinet shelving is 10-1/2" deep, so that only leaves 7-1/2" left over out of the 18" width. What can you do with a 7-1/2" strip? NOT MUCH WITHOUT PATCHING two pieces together! (again, see notes on pattern alignment above). I WOULD NOT BUY THIS AGAIN, even though it's beautiful IF/when you get it installed properly, but now I"m just worried that it won't hold up and will look bad in a short amount of time because of the durability issue. I already have several areas with ripped spots (see photo) and this job has only been completed for a few months... After all my sweat and tears and frustrations with getting this installed and now it's not even worth it. :'(

Not sticky enough
I wish this product had a bit more stick to it. I applied it but it can be easily pealed off. I'm going to have to find a glue to use.The pattern is good looking and feels smooth.I had a very hear time measuring straight as the paper and lines are not. I read other reviews and I'm not the only one with that problem..I was going to return this item as I was really excited to start my project only to be delayed. But I'm going to keep it and find an adhesive that will work with it.

Used it on my bathroom wall
I am in an apartment that has not been reno'd since the 70s and in my bathroom it has beige dusty rose wallpaper and I wanted a change. Since I cant paint or anything I used this stuff. I used it on my kitchen cabinets about a 1.5 years early and has stayed on and looks the same as the day I put it on. So I cut this into squares and alternated the chevron and it turned out well! Depending where on the roll the piece was from, ie more towards the center more wrinkles and creases. So some are not as smooth as others. But its better than the old wallpaper that was there before. It has been up for 5 months and lots of steam and moisture and nothing has peeled off or lifted! This stuff is a renters dream and way cheaper than actual wall paper or wall decals!

Not sticky enough and very thin
I purchased this to use as shelf liner in an antique pantry that I refinished. I followed instructions and the surface was clean but it was so finicky to work with. In making the product easily removable they have compromised the quality. It was very thin and as I ran a smoothing tool over to get rid of bubbles it would hit a small bum and tear a hole. It also didn’t seal well to the edge of the shelves so it will only be a matter of time until it starts to peel up. Also the grid on the back is helpful for cutting, but they also put the instructions in the middle of it so the line is broken and you can’t tell if you’re still cutting straight. The only thing this has going for it is the pattern.

Adds great fun and detail to blah rental kitchens
The cabinets of my new rental apartment were kind of gross inside, so I deciced to line them completely with Con-tact paper. I love this pattern . It's easy to apply and adjust, but I would say this pattern is a bit of a pain in the neck to line up. This cabinet was too wide to apply in a single piece and matching it took about a million years, but was so worth it.

Great for projects
The media could not be loaded. I used this to line an Ikea Hemnes dresser I got on Kijiji for 25$, the inside drawers had lots of water damage but this liner worked great to give the dresser a new life. I turned over the particle board drawer bottoms so that I had a smooth side to work with (the water damage caused wood bubbles). cut a piece of liner that fit to the board, used a smooth piece of wood to make sure I had no bubbles, and viola ! For 7$ I am impressed. It did rip a little as I tried to hold the paper taunt, so I would recommend handling with care when applying.I don’t think it’s sticky enough to wrap around corners, flat surfaces only.
