N3 SlimPWRcard - 0.5mm Ultra Thin Qi Receiver Card Module for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 III Compatible with S-View Cover and NFC Function

Can't speak to the NFC part as I haven't used it yet, but this Fone receiver successfully replaced a dead Docooler Qi receiver I purchased December 16, 2013. I'll probably never know for sure if the DoCooler just died or if it was incompatible with KitKat on my AT&T Galaxy Note 3, due to the timing of its failure. That said, the Fone receiver works better than the DoCooler ever did with my  Nokia DT-900 Wireless Charging Plate - Retail Packaging - Black  - I just plunk my phone on it and it charges. With the DoCooler, I had to fiddle a LOT to find the "sweet spot," until one time it simply wouldn't work - I'd get the light to appear on the charger, but the phone wouldn't actually charge. While it initially worked consistently with my Tylt Vu, the DoCooler eventually stopped working with that, as well.The Fone Qi receiver is indeed slimmer than the already fairly slim DoCooler, which still allowed me to use both of my cases. Both receivers work invisibly with my  I-CARER COLORBLOCK Series Genuine Leather Case for Samsung GALAXY Note 3 (RS900002) (Green+White) , which I use almost exclusively. With my  Fosmon HYBO-SD Series PC + Silicone Hybrid Bumper Diamond Bling Case for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 / Note III (White / Black) , the DoCooler didn't prevent me from installing the case, but it made the phone/case rest in a warped position if placed on a flat surface. With this new receiver, the Fosmon case with phone installed rests nearly flat, with only a minor wobble if I deliberately try to "rock" the phone. I also can't find any kind of gap or bulge around the camera/between it and the OEM back cover.On the negative side, it DOES run warmer than the Docooler model, but for all I know, it's because my DoCooler was never fully functional. Initially, I was a bit concerned with the Fone receiver, as one time my phone felt alarmingly hot after charging on my Tylt Vu, but it hasn't happened since. I have since changed how I place the phone on my Tylt Vu, so that may have been the issue. I used to slide it on from left to right, now I place it on the charger bottom first, then allow the top of the phone to fall back (according to directions at [...]). I've also experienced no problems with my phone after using this receiver.Even if you don't care about NFC, I highly recommend this Qi receiver.

I'm using this product on a the Verizon Wireless "flavor" of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I have the stock back cover on the phone, and it with the receiver installed, there's no noticeable bulging of the case. I use some low-profile cases on my phone and there's no issue at all with the fit of the cases.As expected, it doesn't charge as fast as using the USB cable connected to the Samsung power adapter. I don't attribute that to this particular product, it's just the nature of the beast.For my usage patterns, this isn't an issue at all. I have a couple of wireless charging transmitters/pads, including one on my desk at work. It's great that when I return to my desk, I just drop the phone on the charging pad and the charges stays "topped-up" during the day. Even after using the Note 3 and depleting the charge on the battery significantly, I get a full charge overnight, so I really don't care how long it takes to get there.I also picked up a wireless charger stand for the car, and having this receiver installed has really improved the experience of owning the Note 3. I no longer need to fish around for a cable and plug it in while in the car, since I often use GPS navigate which is a real power hog. Now, it's really easy to drop the phone in the charging cradle.Someday, all smartphones will charge this way, Until then, you need this product for your Note 3 to join the world of wireless charging.

I am very pleased with the charging capabilities and slim design. I have a very thin case and it fits just fine. I have tested the speed at which it charges because I leave my charger by the bed side. I love the simplicity of just placing the phone down on my night stand and then picking it up for work.

I bought a OEM wireless charging back only to find that my slim TPU case did not fit anymore. The OEM wireless charging back is just enough thicker to make a difference.Enter the Ultra-thin wireless charging receiver.I put this in and, though it is a little tight, put on my standard battery cover, I was almost thinking of using a rolling pin to kind of smooth it out first but thought I would try it right out of the box for a better "everyday" test.It fit and, unlike the one (NOT this brand) that I bought for my Note 2, it does NOT make the phone a top when laying on the back. IE, it does not make the back push out in the middle making the phone a spinning toy.I then placed it on my oem charging station, bloop, works, and just because it is an older one I got for my Note 2, I tried it on my Qi wireless charging station, bloop, works there too.I wish I would have done more research (and searching) before I paid 80$ for the OEM kit, I already had the charging base so I could have saved myself a nice chuck of change and just picked up this! I had to buy a new TPU case for my OEM wireless charging back because my old one wouldn't work, My old one works with this wireless receiver.If you need a wireless charging solution, start here and then get your charging base (I have not checked but I am sure the seller has them available), you will be able to use your current case and save yourself some cash.

Works great, Surprised me actually because the Galaxy Note 3 is not intended to be charged wirelessly but thought I'd try it out since the price was also great. Also, I have several cases but my most used are the S View's I bought in different colours but works flawlessly with those on as well. Made a bit of a bulge on back of phone case but then pressed around a bit more & settled right in... undetectable by sight but works great on charger stand that I bought it for. Love not having to fiddle with plugs every night on my stand. I drop it on & off of the stand all day long when in and out of the office. Doesn't have to be put in exact position as it will pick up on the 3 coil stand I also bought to use it with. Came when promised and works great

Ich nutze diesen Empfänger nun seit geraumer Zeit in mehreren Geräten (v.a. Samsung Note3) intensiv und ich bin begeistert. - Funktioniert bei mir perfekt - auch mit den S-View-Covern von Samsung. Anfangs hatte ich Probleme, weil die Smartphones beim Laden auf diese Weise sehr warm wurden. Dann habe ich gemerkt, daß die Kontakte nicht perfekt dort saßen wo sie sollten. Ich habe das korrigiert und seither läuft alles prima und ohne heiß zu werden. Ich würde diese Lade Empfänger immer wieder kaufen.

Funktioniert, ist aber (ohne Kontakte) an der dicksten Stell drei (3) mal so dick wie beworben und belegt sinnloserweise alle 5 Kontakte die das Note 3 auf der Ebene hat.Der Adapter von INBAY ist dünner und belegt nur 3 Kontakte (eigentlich reichen 2).
