I've had my PS Gold headset for about 2 years and the cushion was starting to flake off. I was going to just buy another expensive set just for this problem but I looked around to see if the cushions can be replaced.I found these and n thought it was reasonable to try considering the price. I see the reviews and it all seemed good.Well it was better than expected. You cannot tell the difference between these and the OEM ones. It was easy to put on and now I can have the headset good to go for this generation and the next one.I bought 2 sets so that I have a backup. I highly recommend this product instead of giving Sony another 60(?) bucks for a new headset when changing the cushions is so much simpler and easier to do. Makes your headsets new again.

I do not know if those ear cushions are the same as the ones from the original headset, because I had the ear cushions already worn off, but they feel nice and snap into place. It may not come from Sony, and it’s what scared me at first, but it seems to be the real deal. They are comfy and, as I said earlier, fit into place like they should.If you have broken ear cushions for your Gold PS4 Headset, these are the ones you should get. I feel like it’s a tiny bit expensive, $5 less would be better in my opinion, and the way they were packaged was not the best condition, meaning they were just inside a plastic bag, don’t expect a nice little box.

I purchased my PlayStation Gold surround sound headphones around 3 years ago. After 2 years of many, many hours of use the cushion ear pads were falling apart. I was afraid that I would have to purchase a new set of headphones because I wasn't sure if there were replacement ear pads available. To my surprise I found these on Amazon! I ordered them and found them to be virtually identical to the original ones! They were very simple to install my PlayStation Gold surround sound headphones were like new again! Very comfortable! I'm happy to report that I have had these for going on a year with zero problems and many hours of gameplay with them!You will not be disappointed with these if you enjoy the PlayStation Golds and need a new set of cushion ear pads for them.ONE NOTE: I own the old version of PlayStation Gold surround sound headphones and I don't know if these are compatible with the new version.

Very happy with these ear pads replacements. I guess the indication about being a frequently returned item must be due to incompatibility with the headphones as there seems to be some variation of the the Gold Wireless. In my case, they fitted perfectly.

My original headset earpads were flaking so I bought these in hope that I wouldn't have to but a new headset. They fit great and are comfy for long playtimes. I think they feel a bit firmer than the ones I replaced but the original ones were also 5 years old and the foam was probably degrading and soft because of it.The old ones just rotated off and these went on the reverse way.One thing to keep in mind is that the PS4 gold headset has angled earpads so make sure you put the new ones on in the same orientation
