Impulse purchase that I didn’t regret!
This travel, packable, blanket is amazing. Very lightweight and surprisingly so warm, saved my bacon on an overseas trip. It packs into a pillow and can be used as a lumbar pillow for airplanes or buses. Seriously highly recommend.

Super versatile, great blanket for the price!
For the price, this really is a pretty stellar blanket! Lol it is very light and really slick how it packs into its own pocket. The cinch-ability around the foot box is very helpful and I have used the loops to attach it to my sleep pad. It washes well. My only gripe, if you can call it that, is that the tech fabric is very slippery so when I’ve paired it with my silk Cocoon travel sheets, it just doesn’t stay put. I’ve used it as a rain cover on a boat and stayed dry under it tho, which more than makes up for the slippage! And it is NOT loud or crinkly sounding, rather it’s actually a very pleasing tactile experience. Buy with confidence, it’s a winner!

The best out of the 3 I’ve tried
I got tired of freezing my ass off on long haul flights, so with another transatlantic redeye in 48 hours, I decided to pickup and extensively compare three of the best travel blankets I could find on Amazon: Therm-a-Rest Stellar, Horizon Hound Down, and Rumpl The NanoLoft. All three blankets are about the same size (approx 75”x52”), and all come in at about the same weight (little over a pound).I cranked the thermostat down to 58°F until I got that familiar cold-nose-and-toes plane like feel. I then tried all three. The Horizon Hound was so slippery that I couldn’t even get it to stay put. No -go out the gate for me regardless of how warm it may be. Next up, tried the Rumpl and Therm-—Rest. Had to switch between them several times to make sure the results were replicated. Probably tested them both for about 2 hours.Verdict: Therm-a-Rest is the keeper. It takes the edge because it is the least slippery, packs down into a convenient pillow shape that also feels less bulky than the other two, and at least compared to the Rumple, is very slightly better at insulating (possibly due to it being a couple inches wider and thus able to wrap around my body better). So there you have it. Along with Bombas sherpa-lined gripper slippers (over socks) and the Therm-a-Rest, I hope to finally bring an end to my icey toes. I’ll report back in a couple days how well it worked in the clouds.

Great airline travel companion!
The stuffed size is great to add to your carryon for international flights. It can also stuff inside a zipped jacket to make a neck support and wrap if you run the length through your jacket's arms.. We use it when the layovers are long and the terminal drafty. Love the Bison design, hope that Thermarest does more on this theme, I would consider buying a second (BigHorn Sheep, Trout, Water Fowl!)

Love these blankets
Bought 2 (one for me and my wife) and literally use them every day. Very soft and warm.

Not warm enough and makes us clammy.
I used this for one night sleeping in a hammock. It was 60 degrees F and I did not have an underquilt or any insulation on the bottom of my hammock. I was freezing even with my 2 yr old smashed into me in the hammock. I eventually got it to wrap all the way around us so I had insulation on my backside and that helped but I still wasn’t warm enough. So maybe with a proper under quilt? But wouldn’t use it for less then 60 degrees even with an under quilt. Definitely for warm summer night camping or to use indoors. It’s nice that the bag is part of the blanket and it kind of disappears (gets tucked in) when you’re using the blanket and it’s an ok size but for backpacking I wish it had a smaller bag to compress into (it’s not super tight in the rectangle pouch). I ended up just leaving it loose in my backpack and hoping the stuff on top of it would compress it more. The snaps to wear it as a cape are nice but they are not centered – one side of the blanket was much longer than the other. Which I guess is so you can wrap that side around you further vs having two sides that may not completely make it around you (I’m a smaller person so I think they’d wrap equally around me just fine) but if you want to wear it around camp and use your arms, the long side would definitely get annoying. It was significantly longer than my arm. But I did not try it out as a cape at all other than trying it on.Also we were both clammy, especially the 2 yr old. She was definitely not hot but she was very sticky which just made it harder to change positions and keep the blanket in a good spot. I’m not used to synthetics and I don’t think I liked it.

WORTH OWNING/PERFECT COLORS
Worth owning for outdoor events like concerts etc. I went to very long windy outdoor graduation ceremony recently and nearly froze when the sun went down, prompting me to buy this after. Nice looking, great colors but it is much more wrinkled when unpacked than shown in photo. It may smooth out on it's own. Very light weight but a little bulky for backpacking. Good car blanket, bottom cinches up cozy, built in packing sac. Other reviewers have written great reviews about the merits of this blanket and I agree with them.

A replacement for a heavy summer sleeping bag
I love this thing. It's expensive, but I absolutely love it. Took it on 2 backcountry trips this year and replaced my bulky sleeping bag with this. It snaps together to make it into a bag with a drawstring at the bottom to keep your feet in. Its very light and feels very durable. We've even taken it out of the tent and used it to stay warm in the hammock on cooler nights

Love my blanket! Perhaps a diagram to neatly fold away would be good.
