Fairly easy to install, about 15 minutes.. Alot cheaper than taking the printer to a repair shop..

Ordered this printhead as my current HP 7110 was not printing in red or yellow. replaced the unit according to the instructions and printer error said defective or print head not found. removed the new so-called compatible print head and reinstalled the one that came with the printer but does not print in red and yellow. it was immediately recognized by the printer which ruled out the cables being the issue. so essentially I now have a wide format B/W printer. returned the so-called oem compatible printhead for full refund. - bottom line, it did not work as described.

After reset on printer it worked fine. Just started using so will update if I have problems.

Can't tell you how they did. Printhead arrived early in apparent good condition. Installed it and it didn't fix the problem: "printhead defective or not installed". It's likely the ribbon cables, but I'm not taking that on. Ordered new printer. I'm returning refurb printhead and will throw in old printhead, no refund needed.

Followed instructions to install new printer head and it did not work. I uninstalled the new printer head and reinstalled and it still would not work. Received error message on control panel that the printer head was unable to move side to side. However, it was able to move.

wasn’t sure it was gonna work but it did is like bringing my old printer back to life.

We installed it and it did not work.

If any of you are thinking of replacing your print head, just forget about it and buy yourself a new printer.
