Belkin Quilted Cover with Stand for iPad mini (Ruby)

This case is absolutely great! I'm a very picky person & when it comes to buying cases for my devices I want something that protects the device as well as looks good/cute on them too!I stumbled upon this case while endlessly scrolling through the iPad mini case selections & I instantly fell in love!It reminds me so much of something from Chanel & it's so gorgeous! My main concern was that the cream color would get dirty fast, but I've had this for 3 months & it still looks like new. The material on the outside is super easy to wipe clean too. The fabric on the inside is smooth & soft (kind of like velvet).For the stand part, they have 3 notches on it, but I find that I don't have to line the iPad up with any of them (basically sit it in whatever position you want & it will stay up). Also, the magnetic closure is great. I love that when you have the iPad open, you can bend it back to the cover of the case & it sticks (no floppy strap, because honestly that would be annoying).Overall this case is great! The only thing it doesn't do is automatically lock the iPad when you close the cover, but it's not a huge deal, just press the button when you're done with the iPad & close the cover. If you're looking for a case for your iPad mini that's fashionable & functional, I suggest you buy this one!BTW, one of the main things I was looking for when buying this case was pictures from previous buyers, so I've included a few for you guys! :)

After literally looking at hundreds of cases both on line & at B$M stores, I have decided on this case. It's not perfect - here are the PROS and CONS:CONS: I wish it was REAL leather & not this "PU leather." I think the price is way too high for fake leather. I really, really wish it was a smart case- this was almost a deal- breaker for me.PROS: As I mentioned it's really cute- it's a nice bright red, and the quilting looks classy. I really LOVE how the magnetic closure folds out of the way when in use. If it didn't do this, I wouldn't havekept it. It has quite a few positions for the stand & it is pretty sturdy. It offers VERY good protection- I dropped my device on Day 1 and it was totally fine thanks to this case.Update: March 31,2014Still using this case on a daily basis & it looks brand new. It is such a great case: the multi positions are great, it fits right into purse and I love it now more than I thought I would! I may come back & get anotherIf they add new colors. I can't recommend it enough. I change my 4 stars to 5!

Originally I was looking for a smart cover to cover my iPad mini, but after I caught my 3 month old banging her oball into the screen I decided I should invest in something with padding and full protection.After a lot of research I decided on this Belkin quilted cover case bc it has high reviews; and by the pictures I can tell has a great deal of padding.When I got the case in the mail I immediately went to install it following instructions I both read and saw in a YouTube review. I slid the iPad into the left side and then clipped in the right side.The fit was super tight. I hate when people say that in reviews because obviously the case needs to be somewhat tight in order to protect the device, but this actually damaged my iPad.The clips on the right side were super hard to get on and even after being very careful, the upper right hand corner scratched the iPad and left black smudges on the device. Not to mention I thought I was going to break the iPad getting it in the case.I promptly removed the case and printed a return slip. What good is padding and protection if the case itself makes me uneasy about prospective damage! The black marks occurred after only being on for a minute-- I can only imagine long term use!I bought the kavaj leather case instead and I am so much more pleased!I still gave this case a 3 star rating because:It's constructed wellI feel like the iPad would be ok in light fallsThe stand works wellNot too expensive***but** I can't stress enough-- beware! This Damaged my brand new iPad mini

Ok I have just upgraded my iPad mini (original) to the iPad mini 4. I am in the military and travel often to areas where electronics are not always safe. I take extremely good care of all of my equipment and put high standards on it as well. I put the Belkin APEX 360 on my original ipad mini and it is a superb cover. I chose it because it allows the cover/stand to rotate in any direction and IT COMES OFF WHEN YOU DONT NEED IT!, offers great protection with out hindering usage. The cover has operated flawlessly for several years (I had one issue with the magnet pulling lose from the cover but it still works).I sold my old ipad with the Beklin cover on it because i had already ordered this replacement. The ad does not say that it will fit the Mini 4 but there are specifically 2 questions that are asked and answered that it will fit it. Well I agree that the case will FIT the Mini 4 but it is NOT made for it. The Mini 4 does not have a slide button and the volume buttons are moved up so the case hits the volume buttons in the middle. The camera lens is cut in half.Keep in mind this is an AMAZING case for your ipad but it is NOT made for the iPad Mini-4!

Liked the cover very much, feels nice and authentic and comfortable in hands.
