*edit*Nexlux reached out to me after my review and I really appreciate that. They're doing everything they can to make things better. I am giving their product a second chance and will update you with my experience after I receive them.I had high hopes for these and loved the idea of a RF remote over an IR remote. Here are my issues:1. The connection from the strips to the receiver is a double-sided 4 pin male to male connector. With just a little vibration this connection came loose. Even when carefully trying to reconnect, I bent the pins and had to throw it away. Luckily there was a second one in the bag.2. I needed to make a 90 degree bend so I bought the suggested connectors which I later learned were for NON-waterproof strips. I cut where it says to cut between the LEDs on the scissor mark. I had to peel back and trim off the clear silicon. The connection wasn't very solid at all. I don't know if this part is on the led strip or the connectors.3. After getting a decent connection in the connectors, I turned on the lights and one strip was a different color than the other. I made sure the positive was lined up with the positive on all wires and connectors. I pressed the white on the remote and the lights were white up to the connector and blue past the connector.I'm not sure where it all went wrong but I followed the instructions and read up on making splices and connections. No matter where I trimmed and made connections I either had no light or a different color. Again, the 4-pin connection from the controller to the strip was lacking. A solid, protected, clipped connection for outdoor waterproof use would be a better method.

I bought this set for my covered, outdoor patio. Up until two days ago, I would've given it 5 stars. But the connection between the power and LEDs is NOT stable, and continues to come undone. There are 4 SMALL male connectors and the female end seems a bit too big, so it simply slides undone from the LED male connections. I've tried a few different solutions, but I have yet to find anything that stays for longer than 10 minutes. They were great since installed in December - lots of color and brightness choices. But if the lights don't work because the connection is loose, then I have a strip of lights going around the patio that serve no purpose.I WILL say that the spot where the connection is made is vertical, so gravity IS impacting the connection. However, I have it secured to the wall in a way that there is NO tension on the connection. I have other LED strips, both inside and out, that are hanging the same way, but because they have a clip that secures the power/LED strip there isn't an issue.A little clip to secure the two pieces and this would be a 5-star set. Until then, I have a dark patio with a cool-looking set of lights that don't work. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I was excited when I got my LED lights and the quality is great which is why I gave it 2 stars. But, the only color that works is RED. I followed the instructions and cut where to cut and put positive where it should be and negative where it should be. The first strip that is connected to the adapter is the only one that can change colors the lights offer and when I choose a certain color such as Green or Blue, the other lights turn off or red while that one strip changes to the color I selected.Please HELP :((((UPDATE 9/4/18 -Chris is the epitome of GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Not even a few hours of my first review and he replied back to me on a SUNDAY! You’ll never find that kind of fast reply, especially on a weekend. Chris was very professional and patient and found a solution quick. Not even one week later and my lights are in and it works GREAT! Better than the previous ones in which I had to throw away because of the issue it was giving. Although I will have to work hard again to put replace my light (I have high ceiling in my room), I appreciate the great customer service from Chris. As a manager in the Customer Service industry, Chris went above and beyond expectations to make sure my needs were met. There is nothing that can push a 2 star rating to a 5 star rating, unless you get this type of customer satisfaction service! Thank you again Chris!!!

Got my product today, not going to lie I was anticipating something to be wrong, either not as long if lights as I ordered or faulty lights, after learning my roll of lights was indeed 30ft I was relieved, but I did notice a short in the cable causing 3 LEDs to go off color, not the biggest deal as I can cut that 3led strip off and use the rest, did a lot of research on strip lighting before purchase it was between these ones and the Tingkam lights, ultimately they both had the same types of issues under the low reviews. I'm not dissatisfied, still a little disappointing all the lights didn't work without any problems but I'd say not bad for how often it seems people have worse issues. May have a follow up review in a week or two to see how they'll be holding up after I clean and install them onto my desk later.********UPDATE********Have been contacted by seller over my matter of short in strip. They offered a new full 32ft light strip with a 99% off voucher, and let me keep old faulty lights as well. Like i said i did research on a lot of variants but overall i picked the Nexlux for their customer service i saw provide. Honestly I'm happy with my purchase With the prompt response from seller and a quick fix, I'll be sure to continue my light stripping with them! :)
