I chose 3 stars because my review concerns the formulation of this product. It used to contain 100mg magnesium, 100mg sodium, and 400mg potassium which was great! I am now seeing that that formulation is only available from 3rd-party sellers for $60/tub (I imagineBc it is no longer being made and demand from old users is high with a limited quantity left on the market).Unfortunately the new formulation is significantly less helpful for meeting my keto dietary electrolyte needs. The new formulation contains only 20g magnesium, 230g sodium (good...except salt is the cheapest easiest to access electrolyte apart from an electrolyte supplements), 115g potsssium.So basically it seems that Vega has noticed a way to make a lot of $$ by reformulating their product to contain a lot of salt (unneeded / cheap on its own) and decreasing the levels of magnesium and potassium (what most people looking for an electrolyte supplement are seeking).Such a bummer. Please bring back your old formula or I’ll have to find a different solution.

Where did all the potassium go? In 2015 Vega was bought out by Whitewave which owned Silk and Earth bound Farms. Then in 2017 Danone, a French Dairy multinational corporation bought out whitewave. Brendan Brazier's name may still be associated with Vega, but it is a far cry from its original ownership. This French multinational doesn't realize that people actually read labels, particular ones who are concerned about athletic nutrition.

When I went on a ketogenic diet a few months ago, I needed a supplement with adequate potassium and magnesium that did not contain sugar or other carbs. This one works well. It has the best electrolyte profile of any of the sugar free supplements I've found. The taste of the lemon lime flavor is ok--not unpleasant, and it's easily portable--I just add a packet to a bottle of water and shake well. (I haven't tried the berry flavor) I've reordered several times now. For anyone who works out and is on a low carb diet of any kind this is a good option.

Was shocked by the size of the tub at first, but then decided it was kind of cute and fits so easily into my cabinet. (not complaining about the tub size - the description on both the tub and the amazon entry specified 40 servings)I liked the flavor and slight fizz. I have been using koolaid, stevia and lite salt to make an electrolyte drink, but wanted to try this as a more natural alternative (there don't seem to be a lot of unnatural ingredients and if I recall correctly it's sweetened with stevia). The cost is so high though for the amount I would have to drink. (though I think I could supplement with additional lite salt if I feel I need it).So yeah, I like the flavor and I think it's probably a more natural alternative to the koolaid I'd been using. Plus it has magnesium so I won't have to supplement so much with separate pills.The only con I have is the price. I think I'll need at least 2 tubs of these a month and that's about equal to a week's shopping budget. If I stop ordering these, that would be the only reason why.

Use 1/2 scoop along with 1/2 scoop Dr Berg powder and flavored berry stevia drops, never got the keto flu!!!Changed rating to 1 star because formula changed...Look at the positive reviews for this “new formula” on the changed formula.... all paid reviews cause Vega provides the product to them!!!! Vega is doing the old bait and switch and purposely not providing the ingredients list in the pictures on that new listing so beware if u get a new looking bottle ITS NOT THE SAME!!!!I just saw a photo on a review. This original formula was 400 mg of potassium and the new one is 115mg that is a HUGE difference .... basically 1/4 of the potassium from the orginal. Those of us whose main reason of buying this is for the potassium need to find another product because this is definitely not worth it now. Vega has to know this and why I ASSUME they left out the ingredients list photo, unlike this original product which has the photos AND BASICALLY PAYING FOR REVIEWS BY GIFTING THE PRODUCT, DISGUSTING. I have been buying this for years and I am pretty disappointed. THOSE OF US ON KETO NEED HIGHER POTASSIUM!!!!!! THUMBS DOWN VEGA!!!

I was on a charter boat and the first mate was using this, putting a capful into his water bottle. I took a picture of the container so that I could find it on Amazon. I was looking to get away from Gatorade because I didn’t like all the sugar and crazy food coloring.The ingredients are just right for an electrolyte replacement. The Stevia makes it too sweet for my taste. I would prefer more citrus flavor and half the Stevia. I’ll sometimes add a little Crystal Light lemonade power to drown out the odd Stevia taste, although I’m trying to avoid aspartame as well.I drink a 16 ounce bottle with Vega at the gym every day, and use it whenever I’m working outdoors or hiking. I tolerate the flavor because I really like the ingredients. If they halved the Stevia, it would be perfect.

I really am picky about flavors and after reading the reviews I didn't think I would like this but I bought the berry flavor and I like it. I wouldn't drink it if I wasn't using it for a purpose but I don't mind it at all. I am on a Keto diet and need my electrolytes and so every morning I wake up and fill up a water bottle with this and drink it while I'm taking my dogs for a walk. I never had the KETO flu while drinking this. I prefer doing this then the bone broth that is recommended. Sometimes if I feel exhausted or getting a headache I drink one of these but usually only once a day. I don't even put ice in it. I've now put it two a month on my subscribe and save order.

i can't speak to how effective it might be as a hydration product because i just couldn't stand drinking much of it. it uses a ton of stevia and the sweetness is overpowering. i'm used to stevia, i use it a lot, but this was ridiculous! then it settled and leaves a white sludge on the bottom of the glass when i finished drinking it.this stuff was expensive--i wish i had heeded the reviews about the sweetness of it. i assumed they might be written by people who weren't used to stevia.

I bought this product when I had a really bad virus that was making me very sick as the doctor recommended keeping electrolytes up.I found it has a strange flavour and lingering aftertaste, probably from the sweetener. I got used to it after a while but it's not something I can say I enjoyed.Despite the flavour I did notice it made me feel a lot better and less weak. So I guess as an electrolyte supplement it works well, it's just not particularly nice to drink if you are not used to artifical sweeteners.

I have used Vega supplements for a long time now - they are very high quality, and contain exactly what your body needs and nothing it doesn't.My original order went missing in the post, and when I contacted the seller they immediately sent out a replacement, which arrived promptly. Great customer service, would definitely buy again

Brilliant product. It comes in sachet form and easy to dispense into a bottle with even the smallest bottle neck. I had been getting quite bad dehydration headaches after playing sport so was looking for a product that was relatively inexpensive (sachets work out at 80 pence each), and wasn't full of your normal sweeteners and rubbish. My headaches have ceased since using this and I will definitely continue using. Thanks Vega!

Am a bit suspicious of science sports drinks but they seem to work, so I use this in 1 of 2 bottles for long distance cycling. Being vegan this is a good find

Absolutely love this product. Keeps you hydrated when you working out as well as when you have a worse day. Forget a pain killer when you have a headache just drink that, packed with electrolyte that our bodies lack when sometimes we are not aware of it.
