Classic Roof Blindsfor Velux Roof Windows, Blackout Blind, Window Code M04 Light Grey

With in 20 minutes this was install, never done one of these before, fits so well, was only a tester to see if it's works with the windows which it's does, will order two more now.

Overall good product. Easy to fit but a tad bit fiddly. Also i needed to use an online youtube video for guidance. Noted that they do leave a slight line of light but this is useful as it enables you to direct yourself in pitch darkness. Only criticism so far is that the closing mechanism seems to become a little loose and I fear with time this may get worse. But I would recommend and would probably buy again If needed

The skylight uses cords, one of which was snapped on arrival, this means the tension is not 100% equal when opening and closing the blind. As a result there was a small spot where light was let in as the blind would naturally pull back up (the cord would fix it in place when closing). Fast forward one week and the other cord has now snapped. This means that the fabric of the blind folds unevenly when opening and closing. This is now installed and so the best thing (other than replacing) is to leave the blind half closed before it folds completely in on itself. The photos are the best that I can get the product to look now, I’ve needed to get the ladders out and mess about to just stop it from looking shabby. Not very impressed to be honest, when I do replace this product I’ll buy a properly velux blind.

Very good quality blind. Very easy to fit. Only four screws that hold it in place. Fitted in less than twenty minutes, and I'm over 79 years old! Not a genuine Velux blind, but works better than the original one ever did and with a considerable cost saving. Excellent value and free, fast,delivery.

Easy install but problems later as every time we open or close it the blind keeps coming out of the track

Very easy to install. Work really well to block out the light in our loft conversion bedroom.Only problem is that they don't stay down with the window open, so I can't let air in whilst blocking the majority of the sun out, it always rolls back up half way.

These were easy to install and look great once there. You need to get (or already have) the rod for opening them.Very happy with them and no signs of shifting once installed. Be careful during install as if the cord is not correctly positioned it will cause issues.

Bit worried buying these blinds with just one review but they were half the price of velux original blinds. The blinds are excellent fitted my velux window without any fuss and black without any issues. I would definitely buy the blinds again if required.
