We purchased this long 12' laptop power cord for my wife to use for work presentations & travel purposes. This cord will replace the factory 2' cable that is not nearly long enough. I purchased this to work with my HP laptop charger. Just noting that you only receive the portion of the charger that connects from the outlet to the battery, so make sure you already have that portion of the charger or are purchasing a different, fully inclusive charging model. This worked perfectly well with my HP, and has a pretty universal plug that should work for a wide variety of PCS.

Only needed half of the power cord for a laptop that was donated to me, so I didn't think I would be able to find it easily, cheaply or quickly. I also doubted the likelihood of finding the exact plug needed for a very outdated laptop that I didn't even know the model number of. Due to the images and description, I was able to quickly locate what I needed and for an amazing price that was well below what I expected. Item arrived on time as expected and was exactly what was described and was exactly what was needed. Connects well with the other half of the power cord and its longer than the original so even more convenient than the original. I leave the laptop plugged in as the battery is old and also probably should be replaced/updated, so I am unable to report on the speed of the charging. I have had no problems with it not connecting to the power supply or quality of the product. Would definitely purchase again!

If your looking for that little bit of extra length to reach an outlet this is it.For the normal house location of outlets this 12 foot long power cord along withthe length of cord on the power bricks puts you where you want to be in most rooms.The 7 that I purchased were a good price and were delivered on time and it was notlong that my crew at work ended up with one and would like another.They do take up a bit of room in a laptop case but well worth it when you need it.Quality is top notch and will probably have to get some more soon. For those thatwonder, they do fit tight in the bricks and wall outlets. The ones shipped to meare perfect in every way and they are flexable enough to uncoil well when needed.PS>I use the HP 65 and 90 watt power bricks.

My charger was being fickle and when I messed with the power cord, that's when it would either charge or stop charging. So I figured I just needed to replace the power cord as opposed to the whole charger. I decided to go with this one because you can never have a charger that's too long. It worked. My charger has not been fickle since! Only issues I have is that it doesn't charge right away, which I attribute to the length of the cord. It just takes slightly longer for the electricity to reach the laptop, but my laptop still charges as fast as it usually does. Also, it fit tighter than the original power cord, but that might be because it's brand new. My charger seems fine so these minor issues must be normal.

This was a replacement cord for the rather short cord that was included with our Compaq/HP laptop. A bit of a tight fit with the connections(I'll chalk that up to it being new), and the "brick" did heat up while charging (caveat(s): the machine was down to about 18% battery and, that is almost 3 years old), but otherwise worked as advertised. Worked right out of the box.The length almost borders on the ridiculous. The wife takes this laptop to work 5 days a week, and was tethered to a wall because of the "stock" cord. No more. I can plug it in to a power strip in the living room and charge up in the kitchen. The only downside that I see with the added length is that it takes up a bit more space in the backpack. Not a deal breaker by any means.Delivery was a day ahead of schedule, no complaints there. The only downside was that the delivery cost more than the cord. Worth every penny. I probably would have spent that running all over looking for something comparable.I gave it 4 stars because I'm waiting to see how this holds up "in the field". I'm more than confident that it will.

If your an HP fan the way I am, you now the cord you receive with any HP is very short. I bought two of these cords and I will tell you it was worth every cent. This cord is very long because I have used it across a room at my sisters house. It really gives you the extra length you need to sit on a bed, in a classroom and it is a real great investment. I have only good things to say, and like I said when it comes to being an HP fan, I want a cord that does not confine me to a small area.The price is worth it, especially because it has the triangle with three prongs inside. Being in school, it is a pain having to unplug the adapter and the cord everytime I leave for class, so I bought an extra adapter and the extra long power cord to stay in my bag so I won't forget the cord.
