Where is the old version of this item? I don't like the rubber shutter holder on the handle.

I have the same issue. There’s nothing in the product description nor any photos that show that the remote holder is now PERMANENTLY attached to the handle. It completely ruins the ability to slip the tripod into a small space. The remote holder now catches on everything. At the very least, they could have made it removable.

Yes! This tripod comes with an extendable phone holder that can fit almost any phone. I have tried it with an iPhone 8 and it fits perfectly and remains secure.

I bought it on 9/8/2022. today first time i decided to use it. followed instructions. when closing the 3 legs would not close. seems defective. ??

This is always happening to me as well. I CANNOT close the darned thing. The extended pole will slide back down, but the 3 legs stay locked open. I've already broken one of these tripods trying to close the 3 legs. Bought another one, and it's the same.
