Glycine Men's Automatic Watch GL0089

This watch is very comfortable on the wrist. The 11mm case thickness and curved lugs give it a slimmer profile than most dive watches. The rubber watch band is good quality although it does have vanilla smell, which I find pleasing. The watch face and bezel are more a navy blue than a traditional blue. The lume is not as good as a Seiko watch but does last 6-7 hours if held under a light for a few min. All and all a good quality Swiss automatic watch at an affordable price. You can't go wrong.

I love Glycine. I have several of their watches and find them to be well-made, solid and elegant. I was afraid the "Blue McCaw" might be gaudy or too loud for me but it isn't. In photos it looks bold, but on the wrist it's not. Looks fantastic on a stainless steel bracelet. I had to change out the navy strap because the artificial vanilla smell of the rubber was so overpowering that even after I put the stainless bracelet on I can still smell that vanilla. Keeps fine time. Very legible. But lume is weak. A perfect summertime watch.
