So this item does exactly what it says: it's a case for the Panasonic ZS100. Fits the camera perfectly, comes with a detachable shoulder strap (ew), and has some netting on the inside for small item storage. There is a velcro belt strap to mount on the waist but I tried it once and the ZS100 while being compact and portable for its performance, is still too bulky to wear on the hip. The look and feel of the case is fine for a $7 camera case, it's very good value for the price. The case has a net on the inside for some additional storage, but the reality is that this case will really only hold the camera and nothing else. I think this is the one thing that calls for some improvement; just to make it slightly larger so it can accommodate a front pocket to hold spare memory card(s) or a USB charging cable.I am having no durability issues and I take this camera and case to a construction site on a weekly basis so that says a lot. I will update if I have any issues.

I used this case for my Panasonic Lumix ZS100 (great fit) for a total of 8 months. The camera mostly sat around during that time except for a recent 3 1/2 week trip to Europe. That trip caused the fabric on the front of the bag to fray on the left and right front edges (same as the many one-star reviews photos). Also, there is no separate zipped pocket for a spare battery or memory card. There is an elastic topped pocket for a memory card within the main pocket although I constantly worried that the card would fall out when the bag was opened (it never did). I did like the belt loop which is the Velcro type. You could insert the belt loop anywhere on the belt when on your waist, then flop over the Velcro tap and mate it with the other half. You didn't have to put the bag on the belt and then buckle the belt.My replacement camera bag is the Case Logic DBC313 bag with separate memory card/battery pocket. I will miss the Velcro closure though.

Used my new DMC-ZS100 and this case for the first time on a trip to Cuba. I love the way you can wrap the belt clip around the belt, since I've already threaded it through my cell phone case and put it on. The case opens and closes fast enough, and holds the camera with an extra SD memory card case on the bottom. But there's no room for an extra battery. It's rugged and ready to use. It is slightly more snug over this camera than I would like, but works perfectly fine. It's adequate every day protection. I wouldn't expect it to be completely waterproof or to protect like a hard case. I'm very happy with with it. It's a perfect size for this chunky compact camera.

This case fits my ZS100 perfectly and provides excellent protection. The fit is not too snug, meaning that I can easily get the camera in and out quickly, without worrying about damaging the controls, lens, or display.I have used both the belt clip and the strap, and both are very serviceable, useful, and well-made.My one gripe, which is why I didn't give it five stars, is that it really should have several pockets, both inside and out. While the main reasons for having a case is to protect the camera and to make it easier to carry, it should also let me carry accessories and related items.

The stitching has pulled the exterior fabric apart.An identical case with a 'tighter' fabric has worked well for years.

I was disappointed, however,that there was no separate pocket or section. I like to have a spare battery and SD card along with my camera, and there is no good place to keep on in this case.

Nice small case but it ripped in the seam early on my trip.

It fits the ZS100 very good. There is some room at the top so it's comfortable to get out. Also you can loop your belt into the strap behind the velcro if you are worried about it coming apart. But as others have posted if you have a spare battery it's not really designed with that in mind.
