Bought a set for a 3year old girl and another set for a 4 year old boy. Both are thrilled and upgraded their hide and seek games to a new level with their family and friends.The rechargeable batteries in these units are perfect for cost effective years of fun. So many applications for these walkies made them the perfect gift. Would DEFINITELY buy again.

They're Not Just Toys
Built very sturdy. Small, lightweight and easy to carry. They are much more than just toys for children. We use them to talk from room to room (my hearing is bad and they help a lot). We keep them with us 100% of the time so we can talk to each other in case something is wrong, maybe one of us has fallen down, etc. Their range is quite large and covers all parts of our house and yard -- and then some. My wife and I are old and these give us an improved safety margin as well as improved communication between rooms.

Great for kids and adults alike
I bought these for my 5 year old twin step kids. It took a couple of times for them to figure out that they have to hit the button on the side before they talk but now that they got it, they got it. They are thoroughly enjoying talking to each other from another side or another floor in the house. I thoroughly pleased that it keeps them from screaming all throughout the house.

Not sturdy cheaply made
It’s like a cheap toy. Stopped working in few days but we still kept it. Not sturdy
