Color Restorer Dye, Mahogany

I can't say enough about this product!!! I was skeptical but thought I'd give it a try and I'm so glad I did. I purchased a used leather sectional and didn't realize how bad the seats were faded until I got it home. I ordered the leather refinish sampler which had three colors but none matched the color of the couch. I decided to just refinish the whole thing with the dark brown and it turned out amazingly well. It dries really fast and covers nicely. I have had several people ask where I purchased it and are going to do theirs as well. I highly recommend it!! I attached the before and after pictures but couldn't get them to rotate.

Before & after!!!! Our couches are 4 years old but this one gets the highest traffic and has shown its color loss badly! It has been restored to original condition & also covered up dog scratches very well on the other couch! Now I need to order black for the basement couches!!! So happy, great prouduct :)

My leather sectional was very tired faded, just awful looking. I did some research online and decided on this product. Let me tell you so far i could not be happier with the results. It covers so well and makes the sectional look brand new. I had to order one additional contai er of this because the sectional is so big but $40.00 versus $3000 for a new leather sectional is a small price to pay. It says wont rub off, a d i am hoping that is true, i will add to my review in a week or two after it is completely finished and i sit on it. Cant go wrong with this magical product. I have had this product on my leather sofa for quite a while now never did it wear off never did it fade good product

Updated to 3 stars. My original comments were two applications in. I did a third application touching up the areas where it didn't take (starting over with cleaning the jacket thoroughly) and then a fourth coat touching up again. Jacket is looking good now and color is holding. But, I'd still say that with the brown dye, don't count on an easy time -- persistence pays off. I've since done a black jacket with black dye -- it looks great with a single application. 5 stars to the black, but that's a separate review. Original review follows.My dark brown coat faded over the years to a light brown. Intent was to get it back to its original color. I bought the dye and their cleaner. I used the cleaner per directions. I applied the dye and the jacket looked great. I let it sit for a couple of days and applied some leather condition. The dye isn't really a dye as much as it is a stain. So, I've already got bits rubbing off and it's getting worse every time I wear it. I'm hoping that the black on a black jacket will be less noticeable, but this dark brown is really disappointing on my brown jacket.

I’m thrilled. I was going to replace my very comfy leather recliner due to some unsightly worn spots, but now I don’t need to. This little bottle just saved me $900, plus I get to keep my favorite chair.I’ve posted before & after photos from 2 areas that I recolored.I was worried about color fastness so I did a small area first, let it dry then rubbed it hard with a damp white cloth. No dye came off.The chair has quite a bit of peeling and I didn’t bother smoothing it all out first, but it’s still such a dramatic improvement I’m totally happy. I did not use any products to prep the leather, I just brushed over it with an old toothbrush to remove the worst of the flakes then wiped on the dye.I only spent about 10 minutes on the entire project. I have a “rustic“ decor aesthetic so I don’t need perfection. If you take time to prep, remove all peeling & smooth out rough spots first, I’m sure it would look even better.I applied it with a lint free microfiber cloth, wearing vinyl/surgical gloves as it will stain your skin. I still have at least 90% of the bottle left; a little goes a long way.I’m going to touch up scuffs on my dark brown leather shoes & purses too.Great product, great price, highly recommend!

A-m-a-z-i-n-g-! Love this product. As long as you order the correct color, you cannot go wrong for the price,I know the directions said to wash the sofa first but I was so curious...and just applied it. The first coat was quickly absorbed and within 1/2 an hour you could sit on the sofa without getting any color on you. I tried to keep the dogs off of it for at least an hour but they were on it soon after. I was afraid they would drag the color in the floor but nothing...My husband wanted to reorder a new sofa before the holidays before I applied this product; after seeing the product he was shocked. We have large dogs that scratched the leather sofa and this worked well covering the scratches. Highly recommend. In fact, It worked so well that I ordered a second color for another leather sofa- huge believer!

This stuff is really good. I was very skeptical but I tried it anyway. Wow. It worked really well with just one coat on my leather couch. The brown was sightly different than the couch but when it totally dried it looked fabulous. Our couch is a really nice Italian leather so I was very discouraged that the dogs had scratched it up so bad. But I put this on it and it looked like new!! And it only takes just a little bit. So happy.
