Nail Prep/Polish Wipe + Gel Nail Polish Remover Duo Kit (300ml)

It does exactly what it's ment to some of the others don't always get the polish off

prep is ok, but nail polish remover isn't very good

Good products I use these in my beauty business for when I’m doing nails.

I received this item from the Amazon Vine Program.The Nail Wipes and Gel Polish Remover arrived in a 300 ml plastic bottle.I do my own gel nails so this is something I really need.I use the nail prep wipe after cleaning my nails and before applying the base coat so that the gel will stay and won’t peel.The polish remover is fairly easy to use - soak cotton pads and put it on top of the nail. Then cover it with foil. If you have the nail clips then it’s better and easier.Leave it to soak for 10 minutes.It doesn’t work like magic because you still have to scrape off the loosened/softened gel after.I initially thought I can just wipe it off but it doesn’t work that.

I do my gel nails myself (cured under a uv lamp) but I’ve found neat acetone is beginning to damage them. This combo is great - I love the prep and polish bottle, as it really helps to get a good surface before applying base coat, then once everything is on, this is perfect to wipe off that tacky, sticky feeling. So full 5 stars to the Prep & Polish bottle. The remover is pretty decent too - essential with gel nails to rough the surface up a bit, as otherwise the remover can’t penetrate, so I use an emery board all over and really grind the top coat off. Then dab this on cotton wool, wrap around each nail and attach the clip (or foil if you don’t have clips). Takes at least 15 minutes, then you can use a a nail file or even a toothpick to remove the residue, final wipe with remover and you should be good to go. Initially I was chuffed at the big size, 300ml, but actually you do need to use a lot of this as it’s more dilute acetone. However, as this combo of bottles is cheaper than buying each separately, I’m very impressed and will definitely buy again.

Gel nail remover was pretty rubbish, even after soaking for quite a long time. I’ve had to really scrape the gels off.
