very small compact headlamp, expensive for low lumen output
The media could not be loaded. Ledlenser is a big name in LED flashlight group. While there are some fan groups that swear by their products, I am so far not too excited.NEO1R is my first flashlight I ordered from Ledlenser. I want to try the ultra-light and compact head light for causal jobs and night walk. The headlight is very small and light. First thing I dislike is the proprietary charging magnetic cable. Now I have to store an extra unique cable just for this light. If the cable is missing or broken then this light is useless.I charged up the light before starting to test out the light. To my surprise, the little headlamp took a few hours to be fully charged. The internal battery is small with capacity of 740mAh. After the headlamp was fully charged with a green indicating light, I started to test the flashlight. User interface is straight forward. Without the instruction manual, you can figure out how to use it. One function that is very different from other lights is that you can lock out the light by holding the button for 5 sec. This is unusual for a low output light.The head band is connected by 2 rubber connectors. I am concern that after sometime of usage under the extreme heat the rubber would break. I would like the head band connect to the headlight directly.What I like is the lamp can tilt. This makes change the angle of the light really easy.Overall, quality of the headlamp is decent. It is somewhat expensive for only 250 lumen output.

Great ultra-light lamp
Love this headlamp. It's bright, adjustable in terms of angle, and charges quick. I'd prefer if it had a USB-C connector on the actual headlamp, but the magnetic connector it comes with is really nice. It's super easy to use. I thought the hard plastic would be uncomfortable on the head, but it's super smooth and barely noticeable. If you're wearing a hat or beanie, you'll most likely forget this headlamp is even on your head.
