Amazing C02 pump
This C02 inflator is amazing. Easy to use and will quickly inflate new tubeless bicycle tires with ease. The on/off valve works especially well. Great tool!!

Ideal little C02 Inflator
Perfect little C02 inflator. High quality aluminum machining. Lightweight and compact, perfect for a saddlebag and worth it's weight in gold. The head nozzle rotates independently so you can attach it to your valve, even if the C02 cartridge is screwed in first.

Spare O Rings Stored Oboard the Inflator - Fixed a Flat Without Dismounting
Used with 25g carts. Several times I used half a cart or less, tightened the valve closed, threw it back in my tool kit, and this inflator didn't leak a bit. This unit kept open cartridges sealed for weeks at a time. Smooth to open and close, the valve in this inflator is high quality.Screws easily onto my Presta valves, with smooth action, and no air leaked going on, nor coming off.The insulator is crucial, rounding out a great experience during application, and it fit 20g carts without issue.I keep slime tubes in the 700c 28 size tires of my shaft driven, IGH commuter. Recently on a late night ride home, in the final 3 mile stretch/climb, my front tire gave in, forcing me to the dirt shoulder. It was completely dead flat. Remaining straddled over the bike, I checked for thorns/etc., then lifted the front wheel and gave it good spin or three to distribute the slime. Next I grabbed this inflator from my bag, leaned over the bars, and easily screwed it onto the presta valve. I gently opened the inflator valve and my tire sprang back to life. Guesstimating 60 psi left a bit extra in the cartridge which is right where I like to be. Buckled my pack up, and I was back rolling in what was hardly over five minutes. Great feeling. Finally, after a year and a half, and about 24 cartridges, I had beat the cartridge receptacle o ring beyond function. Back on AMZ, considering a new inflator I decided to check this listing again only to be reminded of the 3 spare o rings stored on the device! Back to new in two minutes. This compelled me to write this review. This conservatively styled inflator has a thoughtful design, and has provided me with what I can only determine to be flawless functionality, and an optimal experience in field application. If only it was priced to provide maximum value.. Oh wait! IT IS! I'm very happy to have scored this great device.

Outstanding, No leaks at over 850 psig test, easy to use, lightweight
Excellent, zero leaks under 850 psig CO2 pressure. Submerged under water and zero bubbles, no leaks. Normal CO2 cartridge pressure is 850 psig at 70 F. This threaded schrader connection is excellent. Note that most schrader valves are low pressure design, the one in the photo is a 4,000 psig design schrader valve from mcmaster carr.

Why did I wait so long?
This device is well made, small, functional and light. It's a great investment in so many ways. For years and years, I carried a frame-mounted pump. I thought I was the last rider on the planet with a manual pump, but as I look around, I see some of my friends still use them. Dump the little hand pump and buy this! First, your little hand pump will never help you achieve significant PSI. Second, your little hand pump takes up too much space. Third, this device is amusing! When this arrived, I was so excited to use it, I practiced filling tires on the family bikes. I would recommend you do that, too, so your first usage isn't on the trail. When filling, take care to remember your chemistry teacher's instruction about the relationships among P, T, V and n so you can avoid freezing your hand. All you can do is move your hand or wrap it because the temp of the metal in your hand is going to drop fast. This fitting combines with CO2 inflation cartridges to form a 2-part solution. Make sure you buy threaded CO2 cartridges. While flats on the trail are irritating, this little guy does its part to lessen the irritation.

Inexpensive but works well
Went ahead and used a CO2 cartridge at home before putting in bike bag. Trial, air up on a few old tire/tubes at the house. Worked well on schrader and presta tubes. The little throttle valve worked just fine, was able to start and stop flow no issues. Bought this to replace a very old CO2 inflator that I never really liked very well. The addition of throttle knob make all the difference. Not saying it is the best in the world, but is a real bang for the buck. Sometime we carry a Blackburn mini pump and CO2, I would be confident in carrying only this and a few threaded cartridges. Have not used out on the road/trail yet, would seem to be just fine out there also. B
