Good price, thought it may be junk after a few shots... its actually pretty fun. I remember making them as a kid. My dad gave me one as I got older. I used to shoot cans, targets... maybe pop a mean dog in the butt. I sit on back porch now and shoot close to greedy squirrels that get into the bird feeders.. just to scare them off.

Right out of the box this thing was powerful but I don't know what type of human they designed this for? The arm support forces you to hold it an an unnatural angle which is uncomfortable and painful. I ended up bending the support arm to make it 3 inches lower allowing it to be held in a comfortable grip. Much better. It is very accurate for me now.

This comes unassembled. The enclosed bolt used to fasten the head (which holds the rubber band) to the handle was much too short. The handle has a threaded metal receiver approximately 5/8 inch deep, but the enclosed bolt is too short and only threaded in about 1/4 inch, if that. The result was when the rubber band was pulled back, the top separated from the handle and came flying backwards. No one was holding it up to their eye when this happened....we just had to walk around the yard and find the pieces. The bolt is metric and the threaded receiver is cheap pot metal. I chased the threads with a cutter and used a longer metric bolt and 3m threadlock and it seems fine now. I would NOT order this again.

The slingshot was a birthday present for an older gentleman. IT brought back a lot of memories from his childhood and he absolutely loved it!!

Several shots then the rubber band would split open. Replace with spare rubber tubing and the same thing happened. A thick rubber band instead of hollow thin tube would be a radical change in extending longetivity.

Glad they included a spare launch belt as first one lasted 5 days. Picture shows two spare belts but I have only one spare. Guess I’ll see how easy the install goes and hope the supplier reads this and supplies the second belt replacement as shown in the pictures on Amazon.

Fits the hand great. Very ergo little slingshot. The bands are 0.60 thickness look like 18x12mm taper. 5 band sets, paper target, steel 5/16" ball ammo, zipper pouch case all included for $15! The no tie oring to frame setup is cool and easy!
