This is what I said before: "I have nothing good to say about this product. We've purchased items from South Shore in the past. This is the worst of their products. None of the drawers align. It took about 4 hours to assemble just to have unaligned drawers. I'm calling to have it hauled out to the dump. The pictures DO NOT LIE!"This is what I say now: We were terribly mistaken. The seller told us to re-shuffle the drawers. They were right but I had no patience. I gave the dresser to my niece and told her it was warped. She had a professional look at it. He re-shuffled the drawers and they all fit. The problem was me not SouthShore.

Absolutely LOVE THIS!!!! Super modern, simple, spacious and sturdy on the inside, and perfect for the price. I paid for the expert assembly and it was so worth it. The assembler came to my house and set this up for about an hour and a half. I can only imagine how long it would take to set it up myself... yikes! This was a steal.

This dresser is really nice. I paid for assembly through Amazon (which I highly recommend!) and the man who assembled it said it wasn’t hard at all. The color is nice and accurate from the pictures on Amazon. It’s taller than I expected but i was pleasantly surprised by that. The drawers aren’t very deep but there’s 8 of them so it’s plenty of room for whatever you’re storing. They slide in and out easily and it feels sturdy and well made.

Okay, the look is unbeatable. Very cute! Match our rustic weatherized bed frame so well. The installation might be a hard part so I hired a amazon contractor to do it. It took him 3 hrs so I think it was a good call for paying instead of doing it myself. I’m a bit surprised and disappointed that even the front is not real wood board. (Well, we all know the inside and the back is definitely not for this price.) Comparing to my $200 ikea, which has at least a real wood front, I feel it is not a very good price-quality choice. It was my fault that I didn’t read carefully before I bought it. The only thing really bothers me is the smell. Very strong chemical smell. I am not sure if it is safe for the family to sleep in the bedroom with it, especially with a baby. To make sure it won’t affect my baby’s health, it took us a lot of energy to move it to the living room ( yea it is not real wood but really really heavy...) I think it will stay in the living room for quite a while, which is very inconvenient for us...cuz it is blocking the way and also we cannot use it until it is a bit more clearer from the smell. If you are sensitive to smells like I do, I would suggest you skip this. Or, prepare to give it a bit time outside before you assemble it.update: south shore staff replied me that the smell is normal and safe which makes me feel better. I will still leave it in living room until the smell wear off but at least I know it won’t get us sick.Again, for the look I think the price is kind of fair. I won’t worry this much if I don’t have a baby so I changed it to 4 stars

You get what you pay for, and the quality of this product is very much fair for the price. We followed another reviewers advice, and glued all the pieces together as we assembled. Assembly did take quite a while, but it wasn't overly complicated. Also, there are left side drawers and right side drawers (even if it doesn't appear so at a glance), so if the drawers don't shut flush, make sure you have them on the correct side!

I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a nice but affordable dresser. It looks exactly like the picture. It took my boyfriend and I 4 hours to assemble though and although it says no electric screw driver we used one carefully and it helped speed the process. It wasn’t hard to assemble just a lot of repeated process. Instructions were pretty straight forward as well. Again definitely recommend I love it and perfect for the values the wood is real wood. Be careful putting wet stuff on top of dresser because wood will lift.

There is a ton of space on the top, the drawers are decent size and it looks much more expensive than the cost to your bank account. Definitely worth the buy. I wanted it to fit my wall so it took up a lot of space so it's not so plain and it certainly did the trick

I really love the sturdiness of the pieces and it’s a very good size for our bedroom. Be aware, however, it is quite a project to do on your own. If it’s just one person assembling it, it can take several hours. I started at 10:30am this morning and finished at around 6pm this evening. I’m a 4’11” female so that’s probably the absolute longest it should take anyone. There are so many pieces and the instructions were fairly easy to follow but it’s probably worth it to pay for the expert assembly. It’s not at all hard to assemble, but it just takes a while (if by yourself, a second person I’m sure cuts the time in half at least) Overall, it’s a really great piece of furniture, absolutely worth the price! I love it!!
