I could smuggle a buffet into the movies wearing this thing, so I would order a size down, but it is cute. The waist is wide, but the shoulders and arms aren't too oversized, so I would say order just 1 size down.The material feels like it really is linen (I've ordered things that claim something in the listing that doesn't match the tag), and it is decent quality. The buttons fit in their holes/loops. The fabric has enough hand to it that it doesn't stretch out when you put a phone in the pockets like some dresses do. It is a lightweight fabric without being too thin. It isn't as soft as a jersey knit, but it is still comfortable on sensitive skin.I'm dead average height, ordered according to my size, and it ends near the bottom of my knees, so it shouldn't be indecent if you're tall. Overall I really like the dress and will be ordering another in a size down.EDIT: Having ordered two in different sizes, I would say that you should actually order according to your size unless you're unsure of which size to pic, in which case order a size down. Ordering a size down, I could definitely still wear the dress and I liked the overall look of it better, but it is a bit tight getting it off and on just because its tighter around the arms. It's still oversized and cute, but if I ordered again I would order true to my size once again.

Ok dress great color and very comfortableMaybe a little over priced

Can dress up with scarf or dress down as a beach cover up. Can wear with leggings and turtleneck in cold weather. Or wear with just sandals and sun hat on a hot day. On airplane, the large pockets hold phone etc so no fussing with purse or bag in flight. Does not wrinkle very much at all either - had not expected that! Roomy and comfortable.

Is this dress gigantic and tent-like? Yes! Is it super comfortable and fun to wear? Also yes!I'm 5-foot 4, 190 pounds. Hips 48". I think the X-Large is just perfect for me; not TOO huge all around, but definitely roomy, which is what I wanted! At my height, when standing up the hem hits just below my knee. I have it in both black and gray, and I'm thinking of grabbing beige and brown before summer rolls around.

Pros: Easy to throw on in all weather, fabric is decent quality and has a good hand, cut is flattering, and, like all dresses should, this has HUGE pockets.Cons: 1) The button holes are ridiculously small for the buttons. I had to use a crochet hook to button them. 2) I usually size up on Amazon but in this case I probably didn't need to. I didn't believe my 51" bust would really fit in the XXL but I'm definitely swimming in the 3XL—which is fine, honestly. Most of my clothes are form-fitting and it's nice to have one oversized dress, especially for the hot weather.
