Bondi is a great company to deal with if you're looking to purchase a beginner's starter bundle. It includes all the essentials and then some! This is my second ukulele, so I didn't need everything that came with it, but the additional accessories are nice to have. I especially like the bag - the colors and design choices set them apart from many others selling plain black. It's decently padded, so the ukulele is protected from minor bumps and scratches. As an added bonus, Bondi included a foldable ukulele stand for free in the bundle! Who can't use one of those to have your uke on display when you're not playing?As for the ukulele itself, it is well made and has a nice sound once the strings are stretched (staying in tune). The frets are not sharp on the side like some beginner ukuleles bought online tend to be, so it's comfortable playing. If I'm being completely honest, the first ukulele I received from Bondi had an extremely dry fretboard and bridge (looked white and ashy). I could easily have bought and applied lemon oil (especially made for hydrating fretboards), but Bondi kindly replaced it. They truly stand by their product and are extremely responsive. When I wrote them about my concern, they immediately replied making it easy for me to get a replacement.If you're thinking of buying your first ukulele or you're looking for a beginner bundle with more value, get this starter kit! You won't be disappointed. Bondi will make sure you're happy and "every ukulele sold contributes to putting a school teacher [in Cambodia] through [Bondi's] ukulele course thus allowing kids to have music as part of their education." How can you not love their commitment to spreading music around the world to those less fortunate?

This kit and its contents are such a great value - you receive everything promised and are able to get started right away. I think the other reviews cover the quality of this amazing package quite sufficiently so I'm going to revert the attention of my review to the FREE SKYPE LESSON with JEFFREY THOMAS. This was by far the best part of this kit. With so many access points to how-tos online these days you might think you can teach yourself everything you need to know. Let me tell you - you can't. Jeffrey took the time to carefully select a beginner song for me to get started with by analyzing my musical taste before the lesson. When I received the music before the lesson, I was already thrilled! Scheduling the lesson could not have been easier, connecting was great, and it was just like we were sitting across from each other in the same room. He went out of his way to schedule the lesson at a good time for my time zone and was very accommodating! Don't be intimidated by the idea of a lesson - Jeffrey is very nice and personable and gives you very productive feedback on the spot and keeps you going at a positive and comfortable pace. I knew I needed lessons, but I didn't know I WANTED lessons until after this free session. I hope I can work the time into my schedule to set up more lessons with him. If you have this kit, or are thinking about buying it - do it...but if you're not using at least the first free lesson you're already on the wrong path. Thank you Bondi and Jeffrey!

.With so many choices available it might be difficult for a first time Ukulele buyer/player to make a good choice. However, with the purchase of this kit, you can breath easy knowing you will have everything a beginner would possibly need to get started quickly.For an absolute beginner such as myself, the instrument sounds very peaceful even when simply strumming the C, G, and F chords. The instrument further seems to hold the tuning quite well, it will need adjustments, but I have experienced worse in my search for my first ukulele. Overall it’s a solid instrument , NOT A TOY.OF NOTE: The bondi team is responsive to any and all issues you have and stayed in contact with me through the shipping and first week or so of my ownership. I never sent any messages to them, they took all initiative to ensure complete customer satisfaction. They want you as a customer for life, and work hard to prove it.Should I need another kit, I would not hesitate to purchase with them again.

This product is absolutely wonderful. I just decided to pick up ukulele very recently, and was using a friends cheaper soprano uke. I ordered this when I got the hang of the basics, and man, was it the right choice.There’s a crazy amount of bonuses, however, it is worth noting, I contacted Bondi Ukuleles and they informed me that the stand is no longer included. But the quality of the uke is what we’re after here.It had a beautiful wood finish, which gives it this beautiful look as well as wonderfully rich and gorgeous sound. I think, personally, the white trim around the body is a nice touch. I’ve had it for about two weeks and it holds a tune great, I heard there were some issues there but it holds up!This uke has a little bit of a large investment, but when you are provided with a capo, tuner, case, and other things, it’s definitely worth it. Buy this one folks, you won’t regret it!

Bought this as a gift for my son's college roommate for Christmas who plays guitar. He was absolutely thrilled. I don't know much about Ukuleles but he would not stop raving about the high quality, beautiful case and everything that came with the instrument, including support help and Skype lesson. This company was wonderful in following up with emails to make sure my son's roommate knew they were available for any questions Would definitely buy this as a gift again. Great value. Last year I bought my daughter a Ukulele at a local store for her birthday and I spent about the same amount of money for JUST THE INSTRUMENT for lesser quality. Wish I had seen this first. Great product and support! I live in Albuquerque, NM, USA and was happy with how quickly it arrived.
