Gorgeous, but need method to affix it
This is super attractive, neighbors often compliment it. I chose to coat it with polyeurathane to prolong the life, and the satin finish looks amazing (the gloss finish is too much because it reflects sunlight). Only drawback is that you have to DIY a way to affix it to the ground. I used 4”x4” lumbar which I needed to level out the area anyway, then attached it to the wood with L-brackets. We’ve had strong winds and it’s fine. As you can see, you don’t have to use it in a U-shape and it could be completely flat if you desired.

Beautiful!
I love the color and the look, much prettier to look at than an air conditioning unit! It was very simple to put together I just wish it was a little heavier wood.

An attractive gate with lots of options...
We bought this to conceal our garbage cans. Three panels come as separate pieces , which allowed us to spray paint each panel (took 3 coats, and 4 would have been better, but ran out of patience). We attached "feet" so the panels stand sturdily in the grass (we bought chair sliders that screwed onto the bottom of each panel), and we purchased silver gate clips instead of using the gold ones that come with the panels. We discovered that we only needed two of the panels to hide the refuse cans, so we've used the third as a trellis in the garden. The wood is "raw", but the panels are well made and attractive. Very pleased with this purchase.

Cheap
Cheap, and not sufficient for an air conditioning cover.

Pretty, but not functional.
*update* I changed this to 1 star because it could not be used. It made our AC unit work really hard and it couldn't even get our house below 75 degrees on an 80 degree day. The wood was really hot too. So, really, it looks pretty but should not be used around an AC unit...totally bummed. We painted it, so we can't return it.
