Response time is impeccable
at almost 45 days after delivery, the control unit malfunctioned. I reached out to the customer service team and their sense of urgency and response time was second to none. They gave me a full refund and i was pleased with the service provided. I will recommend them going forward because i will patronize them again.

Unit is nice. Delivery was a nightmare! Poor battery life on one of two units purchased
UPDATE: One units battery has failed prematurely - only 15 months of service and $300 replacement cost. I love these units when they work but it is the battery that makes them a UPS! Drops 3 stars. Delivery was terrible; One arrived broken, the second got lost in shipment. Amazon eventually got me a replacement but it took over a month. The broken one (bad expansion slot) is being replaced by APC (these units cannot be returned to Amazon because of the batteries). On the bright side, APC's customer service is good if a bit slow sometimes. The good (the SRT1500xla is awesome): -Huge capacity. Powers my workstation, monitors, switch, entertainment center and more for 1h+. -Pristine power. On line power or battery, the SRT is always generating perfect sine wave power. -HID compliant. Just plug it in to your Windows or most Linux systems and PO shutdowns are automatic. -Optional network cards for remote administration available. Not as happy with these but that's a different review ... The bad: -Expensive. But so is replacing your electronics and rebuilding your cyber-life from scratch. -HEAVY!! Lift with your knees. Better yet get someone else to move it! -A little noisy. Because the SRT is active all the time, it has some fan noise.

So far so good no complaints
It's only been working couple of months now but so far so good if it changes I'll get back and rewrite this review and we did have some power outages and we were able to turn off our computers normally instead of having them just crash when the power goes out so that's a positive thing
