Good materials
Materials seem of good quality. Instructions could be better. Customer service has been responsive.

The mechanical puzzle
If your expecting to hand it to your kid and assist while you build it, that is not the case here. For the most part the instruction are good, but there are a steps where you have to assist them in the build and at times you'll be scratching your own head. Its like a mechanical puzzle, put it down and come back later to finish the steps. It is a good build and helps mechanical development.

Nice kit but poor instructions
I’d give it 5 stars if the instructions were better. Instructions are poor. They have videos but there are no step by step instructions.

Parents will assemble this.
I'm a mechanical engineer and built this "with" my kids who are 6 & 8. I don't know what age they think will be able to build this on their own, but it's not Lego. The injection molded parts are clever and they do a lot with a limited number of pieces. The brakes seem to to be the worst part, so I'll be looking into modifying/improving those. The mounting the caliper via standoffs on a plastic block seems to be the biggest issue.

Doesn’t stay together
The concept is great BUTTTT It took us a little over 10 hours total to put it together with instructions that were only barely in English. Then once you get it together, you have to tighten everything each time they ride. It doesn’t stay together well. VERY fragile. So unless I have 10-15 minutes to tighten this thing every single time my son wants to ride it, it’s a 900-dollar paper weight.

Battery last only 5 minutes . Extremely disappointed. Do not buy it.
