Comes with a seed pack with 50 seeds. Tulips are spring-flowering bulbs that produce a cup-shaped, six-petaled flower with strap-like leaves. Plant the seeds in a cold frame filled with sandy loam in February. Make sure the spot is protected from winter cold. The cold frame should be in a sunny spot. They should sprout in March or April. Package comes with planting instructions.

Although I have never heard of tulip seeds, I planted them and and am now waiting, I just can't wait to see the blooms!

I didn't know that tulips came in seeds...always thought tulips were bulb flowers. They sprouted...still waiting for flowers though :-)

According to internet searches, so if you have the time? From a blog: A number of gardening sources say that it can take five-to-seven years before a tulip plant from seed will form a flower. That is different from a tulip bulb, which will produce a tulip plant and flower the very next year. When planted and nurtured in right soil, of course.

Misleading
Hybrid tulips, like the one shown in the photo, do not come true from seed.Meaning flowers from seed-grown tulips will look different from the parent flowers.Also, tulips take 5-10 years to reach blooming size. That's why you're better off buying bulbs.
