Liquid Fence HG-71106 Deer & Rabbit Repellent, 32 oz

I live in the AZ desert where we have a lot of wild bunnies. They love to eat our leafy plants and bushes. Since I started using this product my plants have thrived. I wear a mask when spraying the product on the vegetation, because it's difficult to get the smell out of my nose otherwise. Once it's dry, I don't smell it anymore, but it working for a few weeks.

I’ve used several sizes of this product. The first time I ordered the 128oz. I’m not sure if I got an old batch or a bad batch but I had issues with it clogging my 1gal pump sprayer. I would only be able to use about 3/4 of the mix before it clogged so badly it wouldn’t spray and I had to clean it out. I tried the 40 oz and had the same issue although not as bad. I was able to use the entire batch and just occasionally shake the sprayer to mix it up. I tried the 32oz and it worked perfectly. Not sure if it’s a freshness issue. It contains putrefied eggs which seem like they could create particles. Or maybe the larger versions sit longer and it’s an aging issue. Who knows. Just sharing my experience. The product itself works well. Hungary deer will eat anything but this has kept them away from most of my plants. I have some nandinas that got eaten but they catch spray from the lawn sprinklers and I think it gets washed off. I have nandinas in other places that don’t have that issue that are untouched. Knocked the star rating down a bit for what I believe might be some quality control issues (and wasted product), but the it works and I give it 5 stars from that perspective.

We're in a rural area and have Whitetail deer, rabbit, squirrel, etc. and we have garden areas, and certain trees that we "struggle" to protect.Liquid Fence appears to work better than anything else we've tried. You do have to apply it frequently for best result, but it does last a good while. It has a very potent scent, so I suggest you dedicate a sprayer to its use. The scent that "people" smell disappears fairly quickly when it dries, but the scent that repels the critters is apparently quite strong.More than once I've watched the deer either, go around the treated area, or actually bolt backwards when the walk up to a tree or plant I've treated.I'll be buying more of this.

It works to repelled deer and rabbits. It's a little expensive but I have to have it to save my beautiful flowers.We need something for gophers, rats, mice chipmunks.

This is my second purchase of the product because it is the only deer repellant I have purchased which keeps our hungry deer from eating our roses. I failed to give it five stars overall because I've found it does not last quite as long as claimed. That said I will just apply more often and get to enjoy the rose garden for the first time in years!
