leaves surface underneath too wet because it doesnt "propel" the mist enough...edit: Upon reading this review, TaoTronics refunded my purchase and sent me another diffuser to try. I havent noticed a difference performance-wise between the 2 tho and still would not recommend using on a wooden or other surface that could be susceptible to water damage.5 STARS for customer service tho! I wouldn't hesitate trying other products from them.

After about a week of daily evening use, the buttons began to stick. Still seems to work fine but the mist sometimes is inconsistent, at times light at times thick and heavy. The lights are very pretty and add a nice glow.UPDATE 6/1/18 TaoTronics reached out to after my initial review and rating of 3 stars and offered to send me a replacement diffuser. I greatly appreciate the effort to try and take initiative to fix an issue and a company which stands behind its products. Second diffuser came in perfect condition and works fabulously! Thank you for the great costumer service.

Only have been using one day so far. For the price this is the best product in its class on Amazon I can say that with certainty after purchasing more expensive products that produced less aroma.This thing really pumps out the aroma vapors for its size it is amazing!! Only 4 star rating because the 5th star must be earned by longevity, I'll leave another review in 3 months and let you know if it is still working like day one. Please note - there is a bit of a water sound with this product that is more noticeable than other products I've used. However, it's not a bad sound, kind of soothing. I just don't know if it would bother me or others when sleeping with it.The seller has fairly presented and delivered this product. Thank you!

The size is great. It is quiet. I really like the intermittent feature. But, after a few weeks it quit. The on/off button doesn’t work. It no longer puts a fine mist into the air. As a matter of fact, I bought two of them and the both have the same problems. In the trash.

*Update: One of the diffusers I purchased has started making a weird buzzing noise. I've contacted customer service about the issue.Great affordable diffuser! The lights are beautiful and so far the scent output has been wonderful. But, yes there is a but! I do not like the placement of the power source. It’s on the bottom of the diffuser which can make refills a bit more tricky. Another thing I don’t really like is how when the diffuser is done and you lift the lid, condensation literally comes pouring out no matter how gentle or slow you go. I suggest placing something under the diffuser to kinda catch that water to protect the surface you have it on. Unless you don’t mind wiping water away every 4 hours. Lastly, I wish it came with a small refill cup like other diffusers do so refills are a bit easier ;)TLDR: Great diffuser for the price. No issues so far. Condensation comes out of top and makes things a little wet. Wish power source was on the side instead of the bottom. Overall it’s a great buy.

Purchased two on Dec 9, 17. It is now May 16, 18. Not six months and the fan is dead so it won't run at all except the light. The other one started making loud noise when turned on but it would quiet down after a few minutes. They seemed to work fine for the short time they did work but I can't give a higher review with such a short life-span.

Love this diffuser! It's beautiful and effective. I put more than 3 drops so the smell lasts longer. More like 5, but that probably had to do with my oils, not the diffuser. The diffuser goes through a number of different colors with the click of a button. With a double click you can enter the breathing mode. The Mist is fine and I actually enjoy the very small sound it makes sort of like a very small bubbling brook. In the future I will buy more of these for other areas and rooms of my home as well as my office. Great little device for a fraction of the cost of some of the others.

Great diffuser for a bedroom! Super quiet and produces a lot of mist. The design is so fun and unique! The changing lights are beautiful and works great for a nightlight in my daughter's bedroom. The light can be turned off if needed. Easy to fill and operate. I own a Young Living tulip diffuser and this TaoTronics works better and diffuses longer than the YL brand for a lot less $$$! Would love to have more of these diffusers! Highly recommended!
