Looks good on my desk. That's why I bought it. Don't depend on this to go to the North Pole. It's not made by Garmin. You might end up in Cuba and spend the rest of your life harvesting sugar cane.

I bought this Niegienna Compass to glue to a telescope equatorial platform. I figured a larger one than the original, and made of brass, would be easier to see and read and be more durable. Turns out it works almost as advertised. However, it tends to hang and when it’s just sitting flat, it has to be tapped multiple times to get the needle to move properly.I was expecting something a bit better, but it still does the job with a little coaxing. Nothing to write home about.

I would purchase this compass again for its quality and value.

Very cheap does not work took forever to get

Thought it would be durable and solid brass. Seems like cheap desk decor crap.

This compass is not reliable. Do not bet your life on its accuracy. It is best used on a desk as a paper weight.

I didn't realize it was liquid filled because I bought it to keep it in my vehicle and I'm not sure yet if the liquid inside will freeze since I live in a cold climate. Other than that, it's actually very nice looking and looks like it's more expensive than what I paid which is always a plus. If anything, I can keep it in my bag and use it on foot. Please put in the description that it is liquid filled and if it is freeze resistant. Thanks.
