SMSL SA-98E 2x160W Big Power TDA7498E HiFi Stereo Digital Amplifier Gold

Having a SMSL SA-50 amp and loving it I bought the SA-98E for more power. It was either defective or too easily shorted out because straight from the box one channel was dead. The powerful transformer does produce a flash when plugging it into the amp, so that could have been it. Also, the speaker binding posts are pretty close to one another. I sent it back for a refund and don't think I'll try it again.
