Unreasonably overpriced and not better ingredients that many chew bones
I thought Dr. Mercola had better ingredients on this one but I bought without reading. I'm very disappointed that the ingredients are just very similar to the other ones considered junk chew bones and costing 1/3 of these. They need to improve their ingredient list. Every time I give one to my dog she goes- what the heck? - because they smell like mint and she must not be a fan of mint. She eventually enjoys them and they last a few minutes. I try to break them in small pieces, but they're hard enough that you can only break them in half with a bit of effort, unless you use a big knife. Not all that soft, basically.

They probably work, but pricey
First, my dogs all loved these. They are Miniature American Shepherds (4) plus one Catahoula, all in the 35-45 pound range, and could handle these fairly large bones with no problem. Each bone is about 4.5" long, almost 1.5" wide at the broad ends (they are the stereotypical bone shape) and almost a half inch thick, so they are not tiny little bones. And that's the other thing I like about them - for my dogs they last awhile (several minutes, not hours) so your dog does get some tooth-time with them, unlike a lot of "dental chews" that are gone in less than a minute. None of my dogs have lethal breath so I don't know how much these help that, but they do have a pleasant, perhaps slightly minty scent. Each is individually packaged to stay fresh and chewable rather than becoming rock-hard.One thing that make me hesitate is that they don't carry the VOHC (Veterinary Oral Health Council) seal, so I don't know if their dental health value or efficacy has been tested. Truly though, with 5 dogs and a cost on these of about $1.83 per bone, it's not something I can afford to give them every day - that would be about $275/month. Ouch!As an occasional treat that will be fine, but that limits their effectiveness for dental health whether VOHC approves them or not. Maybe if I had only one dog I'd test them out long-term, but nope, not at my house.

Minty fresh!
My two pups enjoy these bones, and they have a nice, minty smell that certainly isn't hateful to a human nose. They're easy to break in half, so they can split a bone as a treat, and they last several minutes. I haven't noticed any digestion issues since they started eating them. Not sure how effective they are as a breath freshener -- the pleasant smell doesn't last all that long because, you know, they're dogs. Overall, a good treat for the pups!

Mercola for the win
I am curious how much influencer Dr. Mercola had on this product. Dr. Mercola is a well known health advocate, and I've read his book "EMF'd". So I was interested when I saw that he had come out with some dog treats. I did see that these are "legit" by checking Dr. Mercola's website, and yes, its the same Dr. Mercola. My dogs loved the treats, I have a husky and a pit bull. They enjoyed them immensely. I'm not sure if the dental chews provided any dental benefit. I wouldn't really know what to look for. I trust Dr. Mercola from several years of watching what he's all about, so I will trust this product as well.

it has a cool smell, which is estimated to be effective for cleaning the mouth,
One by one, individually packaged, just like food eaten by humans, it has a cool smell, which is estimated to be effective for cleaning the mouth, but dogs don’t like it very much.

both dogs liked
Both dogs liked these! Didn't last a long time, but crunchy and seems to help with mild tartar.

Hard to tell
Got this delivered and had high hopes that my dog would love it. Unfortunately, he is picky about his bones and did what he normally does and just buried it in his bed. It probably has nothing to do with the product at all. This guy is picky about food, treats, and bones. Hopefully my review reflects that I can’t really say if the product is good or bad at this point.

He Really Likes It; But …
He Really Likes It; But We are Only Letting Him Eat a Quarter To A Half, at a Time. And it is not an every day thing. We think it is giving him some gas. It is the only thing that has changed. We usually do not give him grains, and this has some brown rice.It does smell nicer than his other chews.
