Got for my son who plays Xbox One S. Can hear but can't talk to people. To light it up,he has to sit right in front of the Xbox and plug the adapter. I don't understand this. Wasted $20. I want someone to explain if we using wrong.

Not exactly sure what to say about these the headset is nice colorful when it lights up, however when it is connected to the Xbox one there is no lights, you can hear through the headset but we can’t figure out how to work the mic. I feel like I’ve wasted my money, we will have to go back to the headset that actually is made for Xbox one. Wish I would have just done this to begin with.
