Linentown 600-Thread-Count Egyptian Cotton Duvet Cover Set - King, White Solid

I ordered the gray duvet in queen size. What I got looks more like a light taupe and nothing like the gray in the picture. There's also a sateen look to it, and the pillow cases seem really big. Although it's not what I originally wanted, I decided to keep it. I'm in the process of washing it now so we will see what happens.Update - After I washed the set, it shrunk a bit and now the pillow cases fit just fine. My duvet insert is 88x88 and the duvet cover fits well too. I definitely think this set is real cotton. When I took it out of the dryer, the set was wrinkled which real cotton will do. Like I said before, it's definitely not gray, but between the slight sheen and the wrinkles, the set has a vintage linen vibe to it. I do like the feel too. It's kind of soft, with a percale like crisp and will most likely get softer with each washing. All in all, I think this was a great deal. I'm changing my rating from 3 to 4 stars.

I purchased one set several years ago and was pleased with the quality. However, upon purchasing two sets several months ago, I noticed a decline in quality with the material not being as soft. Recently, I purchased two more sets and was disappointed to find they were very thin and flimsy. One of the sets also had an oil-like dirt on it (as shown in the attached photo). I plan to return these sets and will look for a different seller in the future.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered a king size because I have a king size bed and a king size down comforter, but this cover is GARGANTUAN! I’ve never even owned a blanket this large! I have slept in hotel beds with huge OVERSIZED comforters and duvets to match but this is ridiculous! I didn’t open it because I didn’t want to ruin it before my house guest showed up, which is tomorrow. And now I am going to look like a moron! And I don’t have time to run out and buy something else.... what a complete disappointment! I can say though, however, it’s soft and beautiful and luxurious but for what? A GIANT! That’s who! And the pillow cases? Just as GARGANTUAN! The video is self explanatory. The king sized pillow clearly will never fit in the case. That’s why I give 3 stars. Great product. Horrible fit for standard sized options. Yeesh

I really liked this duvet cover, so I bought two. The first one was great, no problems. The cotton was definitely Linen vs. crisp cotton feel of other covers, but it was soft and I was ok with that. I bought another one for my guest room and the zipper was on the side instead of the bottom of the duvet cover. I had to put the zipper side to the left of the duvet so the length and width would fit correctly. It was too much of a pain to package back up to send back, so I keep it. I’m still overall satisfied with my purchases. I would definitely recommend this product.

The math is simple. Buy this well made duvet cover for your down comforter for $40 or spend the $40 many times over with the annual cleaning bill for a King Sized Down comforter. With the brown color that we purchased, any small stains are had to see.A King Sized down comforter is not the easiest thing to insert into this giant pillow case. I did it without the assistance of my wife. The zipper on the body is sturdy to enclose the down comforter. We got to wash this the day it was purchased. Not intended, but our cat decided to vomit too much food just hours after placing on the bed. So glad that we could wash the cover and not have to pay a professional cleaner to clean the down comforter inside. The white down comforter would never have been the same if the cat discolored that cover.Just think of this as an insurance policy protecting the valuable contents.

$10 to return, even for PRIMEThe offensive stink is mainly, possibly completely, from the plastic packaging it is zipped into. The fabric seems thin. I am not convinced it will keep the feathers from coming out. It is very, very white. Bluish white. My other whites are toward the warmer tones. The stitching seems very fine and good. I would probably like it if it weren't for what I already have in the way of feathers and warm tones. It did come very quickly. But now there is a $10 charge to be deducted from the credit to return, even on PRIME.

I haven’t tried this duvet because I’m waiting for my down comforter to arrive.. I was extremely nervous purchasing this item due to the bad reviews it has but I figured I’d try my luck.. I’m giving three stars because it’s very shiny and when I think of cotton, I don’t expect shine. It is a soft fabric though.. The word “synthetic” came to mind when I took my first glance at it and felt it. Can’t wait to try it on my comforter!

Okay but not great: this is made from an okay cotton fabric, soft but not as soft as I would expect for 600 thread count. The gray is a nice, medium gray color. BUT, the duvet is not sized very well for a King size comforter, it's a bit too long leaving it under filled. I don't really care that much as I can fold a sheet over the top and make it look fine but you get what you pay for. At $38 dollars, it's okay.
