Review from an audiobook Enthusiast
After lots of research, I became a Soundcore fan with my Q45 headphones (comfy & great sound). I followed that up with the P3 earbuds (that won't stay in my ears). Lastly, the sport X10 over-the -ear. Sport X10 review (and it's not just for sporting enthusiasts) I read the reviews on the X10 and here are my thoughts. 1. The fit is great. Complaints about how short the flexi-arm noodles are, that wrap around the ear, is silly. The shortness adds to the ease of hooking the ear. They work great and hold firm with comfort. 2. Sound quality is excellent for me, an audiobook user. I can't imagine needing anything better. The little music I do listen to, the bass is strong, mids are clear and treble is mixed well. 3. The ANC is OK. If anyone is writing that they struggle to hear while trying to mow the lawn, they are our future tinnitus research subjects. For God’s sake, go buy 3M Worktunes ear protection. ANC is not supposed to block out a lawnmower. The real test for ANC is on an airplane, and no earbuds will block out all the noise on a plane. Here, get a cheap plug-in Bose headset with ANC for travel (nothing better for the cost). But these do a moderately good job at cancelling basic background noise. 4. Volume is OK. I listen at around 80% most the time. If you're looking for head banging sound, I'd look for something different. The volume is quite good, but not great. Note, your future ears will thank you for controlled listening while you're young. 5. Does it actually stay in your ear? Well, I am not a mutant with odd shaped ears, but I've tried every rubber size nib for my other ear buds, and I can't find any to stay in my ears. I'm constantly either pushing them back in or catching them before they hit the ground. But the X10, with the wrap around noodle, is just the touch I needed. I rarely even have to reseat the bud into the ear. They just stay in place. Amazing for sure... 6. Controls... I like the buttons on the top of the buds. I don't like the touch sensitive side controls on other buds. So frustrating to touching the buds to reset them in your ear, only to have it skip a chapter. The buttons are placed in a perfect location as to not have accidental push, while still easily found. 7. The APP is a game changer for Anker. I love the app control on all of my devices (same APP for all my devices, just pick a device and control it). It's simple to use and not cluttered with nonsense. Configure what you want each of the buds buttons to do, i.e. volume, ANC, play/pause, etc. This is a stand-out feature of these buds. 8. The case is kinda cool too. I like the front button that opens the case. No 2 handed finger nail grab trying to pry open a case. It's a 1 handed operation. However, I can't yet place the buds in my ears with 1 hand, but practice should get me there. I like the 3 LED battery status lights on the front of the case. I don't need a graph or digital % remaining battery indicator to tell me that it's been a week or more since I last charged my case and should probably think about doing it soon. 9. Batteries... I've listened to 20 hours+ of "my stories" in the 10 days I've had the X10s. I don't know how long they last since the buds recharge every time I put them in the case, so I have never run out of battery in the buds. The battery in the case seems to last forever, too. I've not charged the case yet, and still 2 lights. 10. Would I recommend these? Answer is most certainly. I love the fit, sound, controls, APP, quality and COST. Can I find any single feature that is better in another set of buds, probably,,, but can I find all features better in other buds,,, doubt it,, short of spending a bloody fortune? These are the features most important to me, and probably most others. So, I got my cake & can eat it too. Summary, reading other reviews, I can only think that complainers complain. These are stellar buds and Anker should hire me to promote their products. Big fan... so far...

Great quality, long lasting, and good price.
I love these earbuds. After I updated the settings using the app, I have found the sound quality to work great. I even convinced my Nana to buy a set for herself as well. They stay in your ears and the charge really lasts Great for doing yardwork, exercising, or just blocking out outside noise when shopping. If something ever happens to this set I would buy them again. The cost of this device is well worth what you get for the quality.

Good earbuds, don't like how the case doesn't close very well
I've had these earbuds for about a year now and I've really enjoyed most of my experience with them. Pros: I specifically got these for their waterproof rating because I wanted to listen to music while showering and not disturb my roommates by using a speaker. I shower with these in fairly often, and the waterproofing has held up well during that time. Even when I accidentally broke one of the buttons off (definitely not a defect, I got my nail hooked underneath it and pulled too hard haha) the waterproofing has held up great and I've had no issues with continuing to shower with them in. The audio quality is also really good compared to a lot of other earbuds I've had, both wired and wireless. The bass is nothing to sneeze at, but music, podcasts, and shows all come through loud and clear. I can hear a lot of nuances to songs and soundtracks that I can barely hear with other earbuds, which has been a really cool thing to have with these earbuds. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable these earbuds are. The hooks are very gentle over my ears, and I'm able to leave them in for hours on end (which has not been the norm with other earbuds, they start to hurt my ears after 2 or three hours. On slow weekends at home, I've left them in almost all day and had little discomfort). In addition to the good quality, they look pretty sleek too! I find the finish on the earbuds to be a nice touch, and the hooks aren't intrusive. They're pretty low key which I appreciate, as I don't often like the presence that over-ear or on-ear headphones come with. Cons: Most of these cons are relatively minor things, but also things which some people might take a bigger issue with. The noise cancelling isn't great. I can still hear most things going on around me when I wear them normally, and with the noise cancelling on it only blocks out some of the deeper sounds. Normally I'd be fine with this, but any sort of tapping or short noises seem to sound louder with the noise cancelling on, so I typically just leave it off. Button controls have been frustrating for me as well. Each earbud has one button on the side, with one side raising volume and the other lowering it. Otherwise, only one side can pause when using both earbuds and the other skips ahead once. If I click too slowly to skip, I end up decreasing my volume by a moderate amount, or if I skip too far ahead I have to dig my phone out to navigate backwards. Once again, nothing that breaks the experience, but slightly annoying and I feel like the button controls could have been more intuitive. My biggest issue is the magnet holding the lid in place. If the case falls for any reason, the earbuds go flying. Because there is nothing securing the lid other than a magnet, it's been immensely frustrating to me when I've lost one—if not both—of these earbuds several times because of this weak magnet, not to mention the times I had to clean them because they fell into a patch of dirt outside. Connectivity is my only other minor complaint. When I connect to one of my various devices, the sound cuts out for a moment whenever I start any audio, even if it's been several minutes. My Duolingo practice is the biggest proponent of this, where sometimes I will only hear the last half of a listening exercise at first, and several times in a row at that. Otherwise it isn't too frustrating, as it typically doesn't cut out again after the initial error. It also frustrates me that I can't connect to multiple devices at once, as many other low-quality Bluetooth headphones I've had can connect to two devices at once, but it isn't a deal breaker. They stay connected for long periods of time otherwise. Conclusion: In my experiences with them over the past year, the Soundcore Sport X10 has fabulous audio quality and amazing waterproofing, with comfort lasting for hours. In addition to the case not keeping the earbuds from falling out, there are a few minor things that I didn't like. Otherwise, I think these are a great choice for sports use, working out, or staying at home! I'll certainly be continuing to use these earbuds for a while yet.

The Best Earbuds for Calisthenics!
I just picked up my 2nd pair of these. I absolutely love them for calisthenics. I'm always performing handstands, swinging around a pullup bar or doing back bridges. Until now, every pair of earbuds I've owned falls out during these activities. No more! These stay in perfectly, all the time! I've also been impressed with the clarity of the microphone when talking to someone (I've been on both sides of the mic, as I wanted to test the clarity when I first received them). So, long story short.. When Prime Day came around, they again had the original price I paid. Since they are also the absolute most comfortable earbuds I've ever owned (I often forget I have them in), I ordered the 2nd pair to use for work and they work great for conversations with clients. They're easy to put in the case (can't do it wrong or the case won't close), easy to fold and have decent battery life. They won't last a full 8 hours at work, but I usually take a long lunch and they're charged up again, allowing me to finish the day. The only con, if I'm being honest, is that they simply can't compete with my Apple AirPods, when listening to music. I can't expect that though, because the price here, is significantly less and they're still good enough. I would give these an 8 when comparing to my AirPods, which are a 10. The AirPods deliver a much better bass experience and the app for these SoundCore doesn't really fix that problem. You can change the highs and lows pretty easily and hear a significant difference, but they will still fall short, where the more expensive parts shine, which just makes sense, right? I'm still giving them a 5 because for the price I paid, I couldn't be more satisfied. Great job on this product!

stays in my ears, good sound quality, lack a smartwatch compatible eq app, tiny control buttons
have had these for about a week now and so far so good. I have trouble finding wireless earbuds that stay in my ears. the only pair i have found that do, i cannot find anymore (TBI pro). These come with 5 different size silicone inserts to accomodate all ear sizes. Since i have small ear holes, the xs works for me. I have never seen earbuds come with extra small inserts before. The rotating earhook took some getting used to but only because it is different than what im used too from the earbud i had been using in that it rotates over your ear. The overall size of the earbud is pretty small, so i sometimes fumble with them with my big hands. But that's not an issue. I would rather them be on the smaller size and actually fit my ears, than larger and constantly falling out. sound quality is great. Good bass you can "feel" without muddying up the sound, and the phone app lets you tune it however you like, or use a pre-set eq (I have found the pre-set R&B eq sounds the best with rock/metal music). I use these when i am running and connect them with my apple watch. The only downside is there is no compatible eq app for the apple watch. The eq you choose only works with the connected bluetooth device, so when using my apple watch, the eq reverts back to the default eq, and not the one i set it to when connected to my phone. If they had multipoint bluetooth capability, that may solve the issue as i could connect them to my phone and set the eq, but also use my apple watch to control the music. so far they seem pretty sweat resistant when running for up to an hour, but only time will tell. Generally the effects from sweat take some time to occur. the only real negative, beside the lack of an apple watch compatible app, is the tiny control buttons on each earbud. As i stated before, i have big hands and fingers. Trying to find the tiny button that sits on top of the earbud in order to turn the volume up and down or to pause the music is a real challenge, and sometimes im afraid i am going to knock the earbud out of my ear while searching for it. i would have rather it been a larger button, or touch pad on the face of the earbud. I can't really rate the noise cancellation. So far i have been using them while running on a treadmill in my basement, so there is not a lot of background noise to drown out besides the sound of the treadmill, which i can't hear over the music anyway. It can also be hard to get used to the fact you cannot physically turn them off. They turn off automatically when put back in the charging case, but I dont always like to charge my earbuds after every time i use them. It's better for the battery to utilize the entire life of it, or most of it anyway, before charging. The instructions do say they will power off after being disconnected from a device for 10 minutes. But that would mean you have to go into your bluetooth settings and disconnect it when you are done. I dont want to risk forgetting to do this and then be left with dead earbuds on my next run, so i put them back in the case every time i am done. overall, so far they are the best bluetooth earbuds i have owned, and first true wireless earbuds to actually stay in my ears. This outweighs the things i would consider negatives. I give them 5 stars

About right for the price
I wouldn't consider myself an audiophile but it's also not my first rodeo when it comes to sound quality. I own the Shure SE846's, I own Sennheiser 598/600/650's with a dedicated amp and dac. I also own the Sony WF-1000 XM4s and have owned the Jaybird Vistas, used the Jabra Elite 7 Pros, owned Samsung galaxy buds, tried the Shokz bone conduction headphones. You get the point. This isn't to brag about an extensive collection, moreso to at least lend some credence to my rating. I've been around the block when it comes to audio. Summary: These earbuds feel about right for what you're paying for. Which means what it means. You're going to get earbuds that stay in, can be abused, and have decent sound quality. They're nothing special as in it's not like you're getting a hell of a deal on sound quality or active noise cancelation, but, they're just fine. If I'm being honest, maybe slightly overpriced, feels like they should be about 5-10 dollars cheaper at around 60 dollar earbuds. If you're invested into sound quality, definitely look at earbuds in a higher price range. I wish I could recommend other earbuds in this price bracket but these are the only ones I've purchased around this price point. Do I regret my purchase? A little bit, but, once I've gotten into my workout I don't necessarily need the best of the best in sound quality, that's what I have my other headphones for. Audio: The audio is fine. It's bass heavy, but that's literally part of the item description. Messing with the EQ doesn't remove the muddiness of the sound. I'm more of a guy who enjoys pronounced mids and clear highs with crispy bass so these are definitely not my kind of ear bud. Yet, for the price, it's not bad. Not fantastic, but not bad. Build Quality: These feel kind of cheap for their price point. Not to the point where I'm scared to abuse them, more the case and and charging magnets. It feels like an after thought. Although I do enjoy the click open cover. I think if they had to skimp on quality to keep the price low they picked the best place to do it since you're not going to be listening to music with a case lol. The magnets do feel pretty weak like they might not create a proper connection if the earbuds aren't seated correctly, but not weak enough that it would be a frequent issue if ever. Maybe like a rare occurrence or something that would happen after a few years of owning these. Noise cancellation: It's pretty bad. If you're looking for ANC capable earbuds, you're not gonna find it at this price point. Feels like it's just added on in order to claim they have ANC since if you don't have that nowadays you're not competitive. So, on paper they have ANC, in reality you'll just be hearing external noises through a compressed mic if you're looking to only use the ANC function of these. In conjuction with music? To be honest, just keep the ANC off it'll save battery life and won't make a difference. The physical seal of the earbuds is good enough to where ANC isn't needed. The difference is laughable, they'd be better off not having added the feature, but I get it. Marketing.

5 stars because of overall value as wireless sports earbuds
I tried a couple of other (more expensive and more highly featured) ear buds, neither of which worked for my primary purpose: Wearing at the gym and while running. These Anker earbuds delivered! Had they been $150-$200 earbuds, I would rate them 4 stars. But at $75 regular pricing (and in fact got mine for $59 on sale), they are a FANTASTIC value and deserve 5 stars. I'll leave the details for other reviews, which are more in-depth. The bottom line for me is: The over-the-ear hooks are extremely comfortable and have an innovative design (they rotate one direction for storage in the case and rotate the other way for securing the buds while in use). The overall fit is quite good. Even if they loosen a bit with most strenuous exertion, you can feel confident that they won't come out. Sound quality is very good - better than I expected. A solid B+ and notable for this price point. Pretty good bass. The equalizer function on the app has a bunch of pre-sets plus allows you to customize. The Soundcore app complements these buds. I highly recommend you download it because one of the first things will be a firmware update that takes a few minutes. Thereafter, you can control features and see charge levels. Battery life has been good. I've been getting a solid 7 hours on one charge, maybe a little more. The case has good capacity. If you fully charge the case, you'll have at least 30 hours of power in total. Water resistance level is high on these relative to most ear buds, at IPX7. You can wear these in the rain and in theory, even submerge them in water. I wouldn't try it but I feel that these will definitely handle sweat and splashes. The only downsides of these buds are: I prefer to use the controls on the app, rather than the little buttons on the top of the earbuds, because there is no voice feedback. I like other earbuds that confirm when you have made a change, for example, "Noise reduction on" or "Talk through mode enabled." These don't do that. Also, as to noise reduction, it's not as good as a couple of other earbuds I've tried, such as Bose and JBL. I would describe the noise cancellation as moderate. All things considered, if you are specifically looking for a sports earbud that will stay put and can handle the elements, these should be considered. I've always liked Anker products - their battery chargers, adapters, wireless keyboards, and other peripherals are consistently great. Well, they did an excellent job with these earbuds. While not a "top tier" set of Bluetooth earbuds, they provide a great value for the price.

Quality ear buds - priced just right at uncompromising performance.
I wanted to wait a full year to review this product. Just for some background, I used their other Soundcore products such as the Liberty Pro that my wife ended up with. I enjoyed the product so much that when it came to looking for more secure fit, good for heavy bouncing, I decided to try the X10. They priced this just right. Other labels that most are familiar with (Beats, Jaybird) all demand higher price tag and I thought maybe the sound quality and ANC is not as robust on the X10. Since my biggest thing was some sort of ANC and enough music to drown out the outside noise while working out or going for a run, I couldn't care less about the nuances of different sound spectrum others are good at picking out. My hearing is not as refined so unless you're grinding a fork across a blackboard, I wouldn't find many things discomforting. Fast forward 11 months (I bought this originally Jul/2022), I use this almost every week, either on my walk or runs (that I'm about to go on), or when I'm studying outside of the house. I make sure these are ready for me when I go to coffee shops and like, since there's tons of noise from people talking and other environmental noises that can be easily distracting. To give my review: Sound quality - 5/5 I compared this with the Liberty 3 Pro, and honestly I can't tell much of a difference. Maybe with equalizer it can change how the sound is produced, but I can't tell if one is better than the other marginally. I'm sure the parts used is premium in Liberty 3 Pro and there's a clear difference. I'm perfectly happy with the sound quality X10 produces. Noise canceling - 4/5 Noise canceling that I'm used to with Liberty 3 Pro is not the same in X10. Even though it cancels most, I can still tell it's due to muting the external sound and some stuff still gets in. But the difference isn't vast, and it serves me perfectly well when I'm studying at a loud coffee shop. Fit - 5/5 I'll be honest, I have a bias to my scoring due to how perfectly X10 fits my ears. I was always fan of these round the ear design where plastic half ring fits around your ear for better fit. The plastic rubber? piece isn't rigid so it conforms to my ears really well, I have yet to feel much discomfort when its fitted nicely. Just to advise, prolonged use of any earphones could cause irritation around the entrance of the ear canal, but this has been the same for me with every single ear buds I've had since grade school. Price - 5/5 At the time I purchased this product, it was 63.99 after promo sales (which Soundcore does a lot throughout the year). At this price, it was cheapest of other similar products sold by more popular brand names. I think if Soundcore continues to make amazing products at this price point, I think they'll have me as a loyal customer for a long time.

Solid workout headphones
Great product with a many pros and only a few cons. Pros: 1. Sound quality is great 2. Soundcore App allows me to customize sound via the equalizer. 3. Easy to put on the ears 4. Phone calls are clear and when i speak people hear me. 5. Case fits nicely in my pocket or gym hoodie. Cons: 1. If very windy then its difficult for people to hear me. 2. Case can get fingerprint smudges (easy to wipe off but i had to find more than 1 con) Overall an excellent buy for the price and quality. Soundcore is really picking up its game.
