Construction was expected to be some cheap aluminum sheet-metal, but this thing is heavily built. Concerned for the other reviews about failing shortly after install, but we shall see, and report any similar experience. Otherwise, this appears to be solidly made and works fine, lighting my 43' flagpole well.

I purchased to light up a flag pole. It worked great but after 2 months in use, it failed. It appears that there is water in the unit - others have written this as well. $50 is too much to pay for 2 months use.June 20 - I didn’t give a great review since it only lasted 2 months. I didn’t really expect a new one to replace the first and did not request one but this company sent me a new one that I just received yesterday and it is working great after a day! I figure at two months for $50 that’s $25 a month. So if this one lasts two months at least I will have four months use off of $50 and it will be down to $12.50 a month. I probably can live with that.Just let me say that this company, Sunvie, did everything right as far as sending me a new one that I did not ask for, coordinated with me and got a replacement out fairly quickly after we sent a few emails back-and-forth. These guys are great to deal with, and you shouldn’t have any concern about that. I hope this light last longer than two months, and hope that the first one was just a fluke.

When I purchased the product I was very pleased with the quality.. However, after 4 months one of the two spotlights I purchased quit working. Since they were supposed to have a 1 year warranty, I tried contacting the seller to resolve the issue. I've left two separate messages on their website. While they say they will respond in 24 hours, they have yet to address the issue. Buyer beware of this product. Won't purchase anything from SUNVIE again. My next step is to see if Amazon can help me. They sort of wash their hands on the issue since the 30 return policy is over...but feel like they should step forward and contact the seller on my behalf since seller are not responding to me.

It's supposed to be dusk to dawn but it seems like it's on most of the time. It could be where we have place d it, the sun doesn't hit it like it should to cut it off. But it shines on the flag just fine.

UPDATE:Worked great for 2.5 months and then stopped. Just after the return period. For the price paid I expected it to last several years. It was not inexpensive. Other than being non functional now, it looks good and worked well.Hopefully the supplier will contact me to offer a replacement. Will advise.Update: The Supplier (Sunvie) was very accommodating and offered a replacement or a full refund. Very pleased with this outcome.

Arrived as promised. Works as advertised. Went through a rainstorm the first night out. The light comes on and shuts off as it's supposed too. Lights plenty of light for the flag.

NOT BUY, BUYER BEWARE!I ordered two of this light kit. The first was ordered on February 15, 2024 and the other on February 19, 2024. These were going to light up my three different flag poles that I was building. They were not installed until the end of March due to waiting on the flagpoles to arrive and to get them installed in concrete. At this point I could properly position the lights.One lasted only for 2 months. This was 30 days past Amazon’s return policy however, the manufacture has a full years warranty on the product but they have no phone number and you have to message them. Of course they never responded. I left my email and my phone number and no response back.There is NO reason why these lights should only work for just 2 months. My advice, DO NOT BUY, BUYER BEWARE! These cost way too much to simply go out 2 months after installation. I waited over two weeks for SUNVIE to respond and of course they didn’t. I even told them that I was waiting to see what they were willing to do before I left a review.

I like the dusk to dawn feature of this. I use it to light up my flags at night
