NOT factory unlocked
I bought this phone to use with my prepaid phone plan through Net10, as this phone was labeled factory unlocked GSM phone. The phone would NOT work with any SIM card I purchased. I spent hours trying to figure out a way to make the phone work. Every time a SIM card was inserted I got a notification that said "network locked." My phone was apparently locked in to T-Mobile, but I even purchased a T-Mobile SIM card which still would not work. I paid money to have my phone factory UNLOCKED which still resulted in it not working with any SIM card inserted. The phone showed I had full bars but I could not make any phone calls or texts. The phone came in great shape, everything was functioning on the phone except for me not being able to use it no matter what, I could only use this phone with wifi. Net10 told me my SIM card was activated for this phone, but the phone just wouldn't take the SIM card. I also went to Verizon and spoke with someone who tried to get it activated through them, and the phone would still not work. Be careful buying phones that say unlocked because there's a good chance it may not be. Also this is a refurbished phone as well, so that may have been part of the issue too?

Falsely advertised
This is advertised for a Tmobile phone but when received it was Verizon and would not work with my Tmobile sim card. This also means they are falsely claiming that the phone is unlocked. Really disappointed because now it's been over a week since I have had a working phone and now need to wait for a refund.

very nice phone
This phone is very nice and looks new. No visible scratches at all. Works like a champ. The phone calls are clear. The only problem is the charger which doesn't work. At first, I thought the phone was damage because I tried different cables that I purchased recently and it was not charging at all. I tried the amazon basic charger and it works fine. I contacted the seller and they respond right away and sending a replacement charger. I also brought my phone to T-Mobile because my simcard from S5 is too big for S8. T mobile able to give me a new sim card for free. I will update my review after several months of use.update:Feb 15, 2020 - After 9 months, The phone doesn't charge anymore. I tried 3 different wire charger and it doesn't work. I tried the wireless charger from walmart and the phone doesn't charge at all. I order a wireless charger from amazon. The charger will arrive tomorrow . We will see if the phone will charge. I'll give another update once I tried tomorrow. For now, I change my review from 5 star to 4 star because of the charging issue eventhough the phone is durable.Feb 19,2020 - I tried charging the phone with anker wireless charger that I bought from Amazon and it works like a charm. I think the walmart wireless charger was defective. The phone also works with T mobile, ATT. It doesn't work with Republic Wireless. I wish it does. I also clean the charger site with safety pin and there was a plastic coating around. I remove the plastic coating and it is charging fine now using the regular charger but I prefer the wireless charger. I still like my phone. I was so mad last time. I thought I need to buy a new one but the phone still works like new and charge fine.

Good and Bad
I received my phone on time with no troubles. First I want to say the phone looks near to perfect! only 2 little nicks and you have to really be looking for them to even notice them! Second I specifically looked for a Renewed T-Mobile phone since that is who my carrier is and found this one. However when I received the phone it was an AT&T phone. Very disappointed! I mean its not hard at all to get it unlocked but I shouldn't of had to and I don't want to take the chance of sending it back and get something worse than what I have (which like I said is near perfect!) just upset at the fact that I was lead to believe I was getting an T-Mobile phone.

Phone Comes Apart and Screen Blacks Out: Buyer Beware
When the phone first arrived, I was super excited and pleased. An unlocked T-Mobile device as described that I was able to use with my Cricket Service. Set-up was easy peasy. The disappointment began about a month later... the phone has always been in an otter box commuter case from day one but the back cover began to separate from the phone for no reason at all. Lastly, while trying to prepare to ship since it is my only phone and I had to secure another one before sending this one back, while still in the otter box, now the screen has went out and now I'm trying to figure out how to get the screen up so I can reset it and send it back. VERY FRUSTRATING SITUATION. And the camera sucks at taking pictures of documents.

Best deal and the best unlocked phone
This is my very first refurbished phone I didn't know what to expect but definitely surpass my imagination it came on a generic box but really well package and I read another reviews that it was possible to have some scratch or damage because it's not a new phone but the one I order came out flawless I'm really impressed and satisfied and the set up was so easy like it did it by it self I just inserted my cricket Sim card and the phone did all the job (when I switched the phone on it read TMobile , after I inserted the cricket Sim it restart and change to cricket) and it got here early. Fantastic

Good customer service
I ordered this phone from them, and it seemed to work until I tried to plug it in. It wouldn't charge unless you restarted it everytime, and the battery drained super fast. I've heard glitches like this can be a problem with referbushed phones. It was super annoying, so I asked to return it. I ordered another phone from them and they let me keep the original one until the second phone came. I recieved a full refund on the first phone, and the customer service was fast and professional and helpful. I've been using the second phone for 2 weeks now with no glitches at all. Definitely a great price for a great phone (I was replacing my old Galaxy S8, but didn't want to pay full price again).

It's a cheap price for a reason..
The phone cosmetically it okay. There are no cracks or dings but there is a wierd smudge on the screen that will not wipe off. The battery life sucks it obviously needs a new one. And I cannot hear while making phone calls unless I have them on speaker. The speaker for your ear has a very low volume. I needed a new phone or I would have returned it.
