Rolson 62926 36 pc Hobby Knife Set

Really enjoyed using this product, felt good in my hand and did everything i wanted, very fast delivery too

I am really pleased with this knife set!On its arrival I was surprised by the size of the case, bigger than I expected; 300mm x 225mm and 45mm deep.The case has fold away handle, there is a sliding lock to prevent the contents falling everywhere, and even a couple of holes designed to put a small padlock through (hopefully to prevent little hands getting hold of the contents!).The plastic mould inside holds the various pieces of equipment in place pretty well, and there are magnetic strips that hold the blades in place, I liked this feature.There certainly are alot of pieces inside, thirty six in fact! Well there are, the remaining 3 items are the various blades attached to the handles - Items 3, 4 & 5).The kit really is very good, and there are blades for just about every imaginable job; however, it is important to bear in mind that these are 'hobby' tools and are only designed for quite light duty work.The pieces are all of a good quality and it is excellent value; the recommended retail price on Amazon is currently £16.20, and I purchased it for £8.75. I personally think that the RRP represents good value, so at the price it is being sold at it is an absolute bargain!There is a warranty available, and details for this are available on the Rolson website; I would recommend keeping the receipt that comes with the set just in case, I have put mine in the case itself, under the moulded layer.Thoroughly recommended.

Looks impressive in photo, but on closer inspection, one can see why Rolson is a budget brand, well in my opinion they seem so.All the blades appear sharp and well formed. The knife handles supplied which host the blades are less convincing, very cheaply made and poorly fitting.I'm reluctant to insert a blade into the knife and apply pressure for fear of it working lose suddenly under load.I'm looking to purchase an alternative better quality knife handle - Blue Spot Soft Grip Precision Knife, if only for peace of mind, comfort and safety reasons.

I bought these so that I could experiment with different types of materials such as soap carving and lead carving. I must admit I wasn't thinking to much of them but when they arrived I was really suprised by the quality of it all and the sharpness of the blades. The handle are nice to hold and the blades are very sharp which I was suprised by as I thought they would be cheap and blunt. I have non stopped using them for about a month to two onths and the main blade I use has started to dull down a but in the set there are spairs and also they are really cheap to buy if needed. I love my set and I would recommend to anyone who wants a craft knife :)

the first one had broken case, which had to have been broken before being dispatched, so I have returned it via the post office service as directed, a week ago yet status still says return requested yet Amazon must have it ? As for the kit itself the new replacement is fine & does what it says. Its fine for the money, will do all that I am needing this set for. sl I am happy for now, just prefer it if Amazon would accept the return & then I can relax

What a wonderful knife set! Wide range of accessories and very good price. I bought this kit to work with decorative veneers and inlays.The blades of the knives change very easily, all components are arranged in a beautiful plastic case.It is a great set and has loads of different knives in it. Overall well pleased. I thoroughly recommend this product for all hobby enthusiasts.

Just got back into building balsa wood models. This kit was on offer at good price and I am very pleased with my purchase. A very comprehensive range of cutting tools and assortment of blades all contained in a 'made for purpose' lockable plastic case. Good value, quality and design.Would recommend.

It has all the knives you will need for most hobbyist projects. There is quite a varied selection, some of which even surprised me, but you do use most of them at some point.Invest it is well worth the price. I use it with matchstick and woodwork, so far this little set has served me well. You won't find a better set for the price, there are some knives which can be a little flimsy, but these particular ones are meant for light projects, such as trimming matchsticks, not for heavier woodwork modelling.You should find yourself reasonably pleased with this set for the price you're about to pay. If you work with wavy woodwork, you might need some additional blades to suit your needs, otherwise I can't fault it.

Las herramientas las compré, porque necesitaba una sierra que fuese precisa para un trabajo. Lo conseguí, aunque quedo un poco doblada, por la cantidad de trabajo. En la caja venía una gran cantidad de mini herramientas, que en bastantes de ellas, no se para qué sirven.

Très contente de cet achat, les outils coupent très bien. Juste dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de notice pour certains outils.
