I this funnel kit perfect for my needs. Used for my Honda and had no issues at all. I did a complete drain and fill ( block and radiator drain). After filling and running the motor until 2 fan cycles which burped out all the air in the system I let it completely cool. I also cleaned my coolant reservoir so after the system cooled I shut off the valve and removed the funnel from the radiator cap side, vacuum held the coolant in the tube part and I positioned it over the reservoir and opened the valve filling the reservoir with the remaining coolant from the funnel. There will be coolant to the top of the radiator neck but putting your palm over it and squeezing the radiator hose will expel it into the reservoir so nothing will leak when putting the radiator cap on. Myself I had no leaks and it's super easy to use. It's great quality and the price is fantastic. I leave the cap adapter separate from the other bagged adapters and after rinsing my adapters I dry them off put them in the funnel and put the lid on and box it up for the next time.

This coolant funnel kit was a lifesaver for my '06 Scion tC. I used the "C" adapter and its matching metal cap, and it created a tight seal with no real mess. Getting the air bubbles out of the system was easy, and I loved being able to pour the leftover coolant right back into the bottle. Just be careful when you remove the funnel, as it will drip a bit from the tube; I used some paper towels around the opening to catch it. The included instructions could be better, so I'd recommend a quick YouTube guide for the gist of the process of burping.. But for safety, always make sure the engine is cool before opening the radiator cap to avoid serious burns. Here’s a quick rundown on how to put the kit itself together: Choose the correct adapter for your car's radiator opening (the letters on the pieces match the instructions). Insert the adapter into the opening, threads facing up. Attach the funnel to the adapter's neck. Screw the black locking nut onto the threads to secure it. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it for anyone doing a little DIY coolant work. No warping after letting it sit with the car running to burp it. Lid fits well on the funnel for transporting leftover liquid. Nice product and build quality!

Just what I needed to get my cooling system bled from air. The clear sides makes it easier than other units that use colored materials and the orange adaptors make them easy to spot . The adaptor fit perfectly where I’ve had to modify others in the past and the durability has lasted me through 2 years now! Cleanup is a breeze with simple rinsing and since all the adapters store inside, it makes for a functional storage unit when you’re done! Way better than those yellow ones I used to use!

Since most current antifreeze products only needs replacement every 5-10 years, changing one's coolant is not a normal "everyday" procedure. However, this is still a very useful tool to have in case you need to replace the thermostat, or perhaps other part of the cooling system which will require "topping off" and bleeding. It works exactly as advertised and makes a one-man operation easy. The instructions are rather basic/non-existent. However, just take a few minutes and it is easy to figure out. I first matched the caps to my radiator and found it required the "A" cap. I then looked for the corresponding adapter (hard to see the lettering), the one with a rubber seal/gasket. The adapter goes into the radiator throat with the gasket facing down and the threads UP. The cap then goes over the plastic threads. Once you verify the proper placement, assemble the needed adapters and filler/funnel. The rest is easy; fill the reservoir/funnel and open the valve on the bottom to let the fluid flow. Once the radiator is filled/burped, close the valve and remove the tool. You can then empty remaining fluid into your overflow tank. NOTE: Just be aware that there will still be fluid in the adapter so when you remove the tool, that fluid will overflow and spill a bit of fluid over the radiator throat (I found the overflow tube in the radiator throat did not alleviate this problem) SO, the longer the adapter you use, the more fluid will overflow. I deducted one star because of this but it is still an easier way to fill and flush/burb your cooling system and I do like it. Everything fits inside the reservoir and is easily stored.

Makes coolant replacement much easier and cleaner. You just need to use the attachments that fit your specific vehicle and you are all set. No leaks nor plastic parts melting. I did use this set to replace coolant on my RAV4, very practical to be honest, on the video you can see I have the engine on to purge air on the system. It is awesome compared to the hassle of the conventional funnel . Perfect fit, fast operation, I used once but looks durable material as long as you use it gently.

After so many years borrowing other technicians in shops I never ever bought my own. I finally wanted to get my own for a water pump job and this type is so good. It has a built in valve in the neck to help with no spill when you are done and can always salvage coolant to put into the reserve or back into the jug. Adapters felt good and sealed nicely on my Fj cruiser radiator with no leaks. Rubber cap included is great for storing all the pieces within itself. Nothing felt too cheap where it would break if taken care of. Definitely recommended especially for sub $20. A+ for making my service at home that much easier and cleaner.

This is the best and most functional tool i have ever used. Very easy to use. Well worth the money. It bleeds the air out of the system while you are filling the system.

Worked great, the valve at the bottom was better than sticking a stick in the bottom. The clearness of the funnel allowed me to see when bubbles were coming out of the system.

This item is great. this is the first time i have had to refill coolant into my Jeep, which can be a bit tricky as you need to make sure all air bubbles are out. Using this type of funnel with the ability to shut it off at the spout made spilling the coolant almost zero. Definitely recommend. Work smarter not harder :)
