Enamelware Soup or Stock Pot, 18 quart, Old Bay | 18 quart

This is just the size that I was looking for- HUGE. Can make party size soups & stews. Color is exactly as depicted ( I ordered speckled cobalt blue) and lid is heavy glass (see thru) with knob that won't heat. If I could give this pot a better review than 5 star, I would! Wonderful!

I was really excited for my husband to receive this pot, he loves everything Old Bay. The package arrived on schedule and the box was undamaged. As soon as he opened the box he noticed a fleck of enamel missing (see photos). It is not large but this is something that will develop into a larger problem (flaking) down the road. For the price there should not be damage or defects hence the low rating. Overall, if it had not been damaged it would have been a lovely addition to the other kitchen ware.

This pot is a work of art. I was almost scared to use it I didn’t want to stain the enamel. I made a pot of crab soup and it cooked beautifully. It holds heat really well. It also cleaned up easily. It is heavy duty and very high quality. It also looks beautiful on my shelf. I love it and plan to buy some to gift at Christmas.

This is a very nice pot, but I didn't give it 5 stars because there were bare spots where it didn't get painted with the enamel. Not what you would expect from the very expensive price. The quality should have been better.
