Moen Karis Chrome One-Handle Single Hole Bathroom Sink Faucet with Optional Deck Plate, 84346

I purchased this Moen Karis one-handle bathroom faucet for my bathroom remodel, and I’m very happy with it. The matte-black finish gives the sink a clean, modern look and coordinates nicely with the other fixtures in the room. The single handle is simple to use, and the faucet feels sturdy and well made. It was a great finishing touch for the vanity and helped give the bathroom the updated look I wanted. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish matte-black faucet for a bathroom renovation.

I could not be happier. The design is fantastic. It looks just like I expected that it would—like a piece of art. The finish is perfect. You don't need to wipe water off it but when it dries it looks like you did. I'm switching my metal over to brushed nickel and this is beautiful. The base works well to cover the two outer holes in my sink but it is not obtrusive. Visually, it works well on a small sink. This faucet is a little more than an inch taller than what I had before and now I can just get a big stainless water bottle under there to fill it up, which is a bonus. The water lines are a little skinnier than what I had previously but the flow seems fine... it's for a bathroom sink. If my water line supply pipes were directly under my sink I could have likely only used what came in the kit. Since my supply lines are about 9 inches to the side (from a remodel) I had to buy short extension lines from Ace and pieces to connect the lines. That worked out fine. You absolutely want to use the plastic extension tool they provide to put the nuts on to secure it in place. It would have been a nightmare without that tool. I'm keeping it around. You don't need to turn the handle very far left or right to go from total hot to total cold. I ended up using a bunch of plumbers putty for the drain rather than the supplied rubber washer due to the contour of the drain shape. So far, so good. I like this push-to-pop up drain style. It works with my overflow sink. It was the mechanical drain mechanism that failed on my last unit. I'm glad I don't have to deal with that anymore. I'm happy when I see this faucet. I'm happy when I use it.

I like the finish and the water flows great. Easy to install and sleek design. Good value.

The Moen 84346SRN Karis faucet in Spot Resist Brushed Nickel is an excellent upgrade and well worth the investment. The finish looks modern and high-end, and it truly lives up to the “spot resist” claim—water spots and fingerprints are barely noticeable, which keeps the faucet looking clean with minimal effort. Installation was straightforward, even for a DIY project, and all the necessary hardware was included. The handle operates smoothly, water flow is consistent, and the temperature control is precise. It feels solid and well-made, exactly what you’d expect from Moen. Beyond appearance, the faucet performs flawlessly in daily use and adds a polished look to the bathroom. With great build quality, easy maintenance, and Moen’s strong reputation for reliability, this faucet earns a full five stars without hesitation.

We have had the best luck recently with Moen faucets. We still prefer this type of kitchen faucet, so we were happy to find this one which is really beautiful. It has a nice Brushed Nickel finish which is truly spotless, swivels very smoothly, the pull-out sprayer is really easy to pull out & retract, and the spray is strong. We would definitely recommend this Moen faucet!

The style of this Moen Karis faucet is clean and modern. Water easily wipes off of the brushed nickel finish, and the amount of water it produces is more than adequate. The spout extends further into the sink than my previous faucet, so less water ends up on the counter. My one complaint is that the gasket that seats the drain into the sink opening is thin and flimsy. It leaked, so we eliminated the gasket and instead applied plumber’s putty in that location. We also used waterproof silicone caulk under the sink at the top of the cone gasket. After allowing it to dry overnight, the leaking was eliminated. Love my Moen faucets so far!

I am sticking with Moen from here on out. I got one from Kohler and they didn’t even include the tool to remove the aerator. Moen just feels like it’s way more quality and the packaging was excellent installation was simple and I have more confidence in their warranty and standing by their products and customer service. I couldn’t find what I was looking for at Lowe’s or Home Depot. My Google search popped up with Amazon and I thought I’d give it a try. I’m so glad I did. this was what I was hoping to find at those big box stores. What they were offering was 40 or $50 more expensive for very similar thing.

I had a hose pop off my old Moen bathroom faucet, and decided to replace the whole thing rather than figure out the problem. I needed to spend my time repairing the water-damaged cabinet base. I wasn't fond of the old faucet, which had a sharp edge around the outlet, and an aerator screen that was a PITA to clean, so I was ready to replace it. The newer 84346SRN has a smoother outlet, better access to the aerator screen, and a single handle control that is very smooth. It also flows more pressure with a less splashy output, added plusses. The kit comes with a sturdy matching faucet base to block off a three-hole sink, and an entire pop-up drain assembly to replace the old style fiddly plastic drain valve controlled by a vertical rod. Even though my sink is one-hole, I chose to use the faucet base, which provides more mounting strength and less chance of drips. Changing the drain valve is optional. The new assembly is complete but requires removing the old drain pipe from under the sink, sealing the new drain assembly, and reconnecting the outlet. I decided to leave the old drain pipe in position and drop in an accessory drain basket from the top, which can instantly be pulled out to clean the pipe. However, all the important bits and pieces are there to connect up the genuine Moen drain valve as you prefer. I chose the spot resist nickel finish, which does look nice, but will contrast with other chrome fixtures or accessories. You will need to support the faucet while tightening the single hold down nut. That will typically require lying on your back under the sink. it's usually impossible for one person to both hold the faucet and tighten the nut. Not having a helper I sawed out a softwood dowel that fit the drain tube, and clamped a cross piece to temporarily support the faucet in position. It would be much simpler to just borrow a second pair of hands for two minutes. Since I know I'll need to clean and descale the aerator screen every year, and that there are numerous insert sizes and thread pitches, I unscrewed the aerator screen and recorded the diameter and pitch, which is much easier with the faucet held upside down.

Nice addition to a bathroom. Does what it says it should.

Can't beat the quality of Moen! Love these. So easy to install and water runs well and looks fabulous!

We just renovated our ensuite and we installed this faucet. It’s a beautiful faucet BUT the water flow is reduced to about half the flow of our previous faucet. It’s really annoying when brushing your teeth or washing your face. We gave it 3 stars because of the water flow. Had it been good we would have given this facet 5 stars UPDATE: after purchasing a Faucet Aerator Key Set and cleaning the aerator screen the water flow has been improved upon, therefore my 3 star rating has now been upgraded to 5 stars and we are now pleased with the faucet!

Its nice but the flow is meh but its for the washroom who needs a geyser?
