I love the weight of this dish and the seal. I can easily put my leftovers in fridge. I use this for most every meal I cook.

Lid doesn't fit tight
I got this to replace a similar dish I had gotten for a wedding gift-30 years ago. The lid doesn't fit tight, wobbles and lets steam escape. I do like the storage lid.

Poor Workmanship
The lid fits the handles, but it's not snug around the dish. You can put your finger inside the dish from the side of the lid. The glass top is slightly warped. When placed on a flat surface it rocks. It slides and rocks on the dish. It does not provide the same type of seal as other years-old bakeware I currently have does. There are slight imperfections in the glass (looks like scrapes) and a few cuts outside of the glass bottom where you can feel with your fingers. This worries me as a viable bakeware item. Others here stated that their item exploded. I'll take precautions and return this item as I'm not looking forward to that type of lost or clean up. I'm pretty disappointed in the quality of this item. Made in the USA.

Sturdy
My wife had an accident carry a tray with cheese dip in the Bakewear and fell hard on concrete. The only thing that broke was her nose. Sturdy Bakewear! A bunch of broken glass would have caused multi problems.
