UPDATE: Below is my original review, BUT I want to say the reset button next to the charging port is your friend. I hit that and suddenly all was well and accurate in comparison to my original scale. It was only off by half a pound. With that, I give this a 5 Star. I've been warned by some fitness friends that mutli-point body comp scales may need a reset from time-to-time. So, keep that in mind. If you have similar results, it may just be a button press away. PRIOR REVIEW: I REALLY wanted to like this scale. When I climbed on for my weight, imagine my surprise when it was roughly 15 pounds more than expected. I pulled out my usual scale for comparison and sure enough, that seemed to be the case. So, I ran a test with a 10lb weight I had laying around. My old scale registers 10 lbs perfectly. The new body comp scale, shows 27.5lbs with the 10 pound weight. CAVEAT: I understand the specs state 11lbs as the lowest point, but that being the case, I would imagine even with just a little extra pressure I could get close to 11lbs, but it will not go below 27.5lbs, no matter how hard I try. It is possible this is a bad unit, as there are a lot of positive reviews, but it isn't working out for me.

Finally got a membership to my local gym. 1st thing they did was a full weight and profile printout. We discussed my goals and I got a party on the back for motivation. I asked as I go through my journey of I can do weight checking. They informed me it was a 1 time thing unless I pay more per month. Forget that, I found great reviews on this and decided I could have my own. Got it and immediately used it. The pronounced was identical to the gym. Now I can monitor my progress from home for a 1 time small price. And yes weekly I'm seeing changes. Definitely accurate and love it

Consistency is terrible. I weighed this morning and had the same weight (confirmed by 3 other scales) as 3 days ago, but with radically different (worse) numbers. I had not consumed anything after the first use today, and weighed 10 minutes later. Body fat % increased 5% even though fat mass dropped 3 kg. Also, muscle readings went from orange to completely green, even with the numbers being almost identical to the reading 3 days earlier, which was green only in the torso and orange elsewhere. It shows a 3-4 pound increase in visceral fat over the same time period. I am eating 1800 calories/day and walking 8 miles/day. Basal calories are around 1650. My other scales show improvements in numbers, not worsening. Edit: 6-15-2026 I weighed today and was up .2 kg over 6 days, but 6.8 kg more fat. That is an increase of 7.3% body fat. This scale is horrible. Fortunately, I have 5 other scales.

I’m a nutritional researcher and I have been using this scale every morning for the last 9 months. I do like it because it helps me keep track of a wide range of metrics and keeps me accountable. I’ve seen my muscle mass increase and fat mass decrease over the last 9 months and the app nicely graphs that for me. My big concern is precision. I find so much inter-reading variability. I check myself every single morning in the same location in the same circumstances and yet my numbers jump around and I have to do 3-4 readings to get a sense of what is real. This morning the scale informed me that I was 24 percent body fat when I was 15 percent yesterday and for the entire week before that was hovering in the 15-16 percent range. I had to take three measurements before it normalized. To its credit? When you get a reading that is wayyy to high, the app does give you measurement tips which is it’s helpful way of letting you know that you took a bad reading. In general I assume my true number is +/- 2 percent from what the scale tells me which isn’t bad I suppose. I do wish it was more precise with less variability but I think this might be an inherent limitation of bioelectric impedance assays. For the price, this is a pretty impressive machine. But I might consider upgrading.
