NOISY
I've bought this type of valve before with no problem. For some reason these make a squaking sound until the toilet tank reaches full capacity. I was told some states have made this type valve illegal. The main reason is the valve sits below the water level even though they the have a built in device to prevent backflow of the water in the toilet tank to your water line.

I Am saving a lot of water that was wasted.
My apartment has low water pressure that caused my toilet to fill with water several times an hour. Up ward pressure with a float did not work. The downward pressure on this valve, shuts off the valve with the weight of the water in the tank as long your flapper does not leak. Problem solved. I Am saving a lot of water that was wasted.

Easy to instal and setup
I have purchased this model four times [not always from Amazon] and I find it hard to believe that anyone with older model toilets would use anything else. SUPER easy to install and adjust proper tank water amount.
