I bought this twin pack - one for me and one for my wife - after a demonstration by my dental hygienist at my latest treatment. Now I’ve had the toothbrushes three weeks, I can report that even though I’ve used an Oral B toothbrush for decades- this IO version is amazing and the improvement in cleanliness is felt by your tongue. Hugely recommended.

We got these at the recommendation of our dentist. They don't hold charge very well- if you use the bluetooth connection (For a toothbrush? Who dreams this stuff up?) then the battery life is worse than your phone!After several months we had to update the firmware in the brushes, using the almost-invisible codes written around the base of the brush handle - you need a magnifying glass to be able to see the blurred codes - and after that, the battery in one failed. It went off in July for repair/replacement (still waiting in August) and now the other handle has stopped charging. Not impressive. Addendum in September. The second unit has been replaced. No comments why, no apology for the lack of information, just really poor service, no customer contact. This has to be the poorest purchase we've ever made. Both handles fail within 6 months? Ok. There's a two year warranty, but given the reliability so far, we expect them to fail again.Total waste of time and effort. We're going back to the older (about 4 years old) electric brush which has never given any problems.This feel like it's technology for the sake of technology, and since neither brush has lasted a year yet, it's not passed the consumer test - it's not fit for purpose, it's too complicated and it doesn't work.Addendum: Less than two weeks after being returned 'repaired' the white handle flashes white and then red. Broken again. This is not fit for purpose, nor is it of merchantable quality. I will be trying to return for a refund as a pile of rubbish!

I bought the twin pack. Both toothbrushes have issues charging, holding charge, and indicating when the battery is low. Eg. One refused to work after being on charge for 16hrs, requiring a further charge.Both have been found to be completely depleted, despite not indicating that a charge was require after use earlier in the day (theres an led for this purpose).Neither holds charge for the stated 2 week.UPDATE:The above got so bad that I was about to start a return. Before doing so I went on the oralB website and it turns out this is a known issue. OralB have issued a firmware update - yes, I said a firmware update - which seem to have more or less solved the issues. This is done via the app; something I’d never bothered with prior just because…

After two weeks of use the battery is dead. It’s unbelievable OralB can sell such a poor quality product.

The battery life has diminished substantially with use, now requiring a charge every few days which is extremely annoying. The clean is fantastic which is the only reason I'm not scoring lower. I would not purchase this product again.

I like the actual clean when it works but it only lasts about 5 or 6 normal length teeth cleans. The toothbrush just stops with NO warning and even after being in charge for 24 hours same result. They have made it so complex with fancy coloured LED lights that reward you for doing a full 2 minutes but haven’t got the basics right. DO NOT BOTHER BUYING

Had these for a little over a month, I charged 1 for 16 hours, used it once, packed it to take with me for a couple of nights away and by the evening it was completely flat. I hadn't brought the charging stand with me. Absolutely rubbish product.
