WL-302STS Stainless Steel Finish Deluxe 3-Way Kitchen Faucet for Reverse Osmosis System

After searching for a combination faucet that could hook up to a RO filter system, I finally found one that works perfectly! It hooked up to the Ispring filter system. The faucet came with a connector piece that allows the 1/4 inch blue tubing from the RO system to connect - yay! Very pleased that my kitchen island with only one hole can now allow tap water as well as RO water that comes out from a separate pipe. No need for a separate RO faucet. Customer service from Waterlux was amazing - I called them directly to make sure about a few things including the color of the faucet (love the stainless steel but was comparing to brushed nickel). Brushed nickel not as nice IMO.

I have had this for about 2.5 years and for the past year it is constantly dripping from the reverse-osmosis portion of this faucet. I am not happy with the constant dripping and the waste of water in drought-ridden California. Apparently nothing can be done about it. I have reached out to the manufacturer and they have yet to offer any solution or tell me anything worthwhile.

It took a lot of back-and-forth prior to pulling the trigger on this product and, as I've just now completed installation, my initial reaction is that it's a solid product and easy to install. Here is some additional detail that might be helpful both to prospective purchasers and the manufacturer.1) Product quality and design - very solid feel and mechanisms. Slight imperfections on the stainless itself - there are a couple spots where the polishing wasn't up to snuff so you can see a difference in finish. Not enough to hassle for a return but a sign of no QA. But the overall quality and look is top-notch. The finish appears to match the Kohler I bought for the other end of the kitchen. One design feature I liked and found useful were the screws in the below-the-sink faucet hold-down nut. There are two screws that you can tighten and 'lock' the nut in place after you've secure it. I haven't seen this elsewhere and it gives a bit of comfort that the faucet isn't going to move around a lot after it's been there a while (TBD). :)2) Installation instructions - the guide is written in German and that's it. That said, the pictures are much better than what you'd find in most installation manuals - except the picture of the hold-down nut is not accurate (actual is fairly standard while the picture looks like it would be easier to tighten with hands). Bottom line, you'd have to be clueless to not figure out what to do. If not, buy the installation.3) Product specs on Amazon - there were two items I wished had been included on the Amazon pages. It's possible I missed them but don't think so. a) Hole size - this is a single hole faucet and I couldn't find anything that show the hole size. I didn't measure but it matched the one I pulled out so no issue except that IF it hadn't been, that's a point I'd like to know in advance; b) GPM - I couldn't find anything that showed water output. Again, not a big deal now that I've turned it on and have great water flow. But, with all the limitations on GPM these days, it would be nice to know that it's not like those slow-drip toilets.4) Nice-to-haves - my nearest Lowe's is 20 miles so after installation, here are items that would be good to have in the box OR, you could plan ahead and buy them prior to installation. a) 1/4" tubing; b) T-connector that you'll likely need to split the regular flow and the filtered flow. I would guess the manufacturer doesn't include because of all the options but it was a must-have to finish the job.I would buy this again and recommend it to others based on the design, installation and initial use.

The instruction manuel did not match the product. I think the manuel was for an older model. I like the new model, but I had to use my own common sense on installing it. Only one part of the installation was wrong from the manuel, the rest was fine. I like the product.

Update: the faucet has a loose handle controlling the flow. Can’t see how to service it and finding the manufacturer is near impossible. Will soon have to find another option. Great faucet before it started to fail.—Purchased an RO system and didn't want to drill through my granite to install a cheap water spout. This is a clean and elegant solution. Much simpler to install as well.

1 month, hopefully many to go. So far so good. Easy to install. Directions not clear, but you must dicipher the pictures. Not rocket science. The parts are not exactly the same as what pictures show. Just use common sense, put it together.
